HELENA MARIA - I love sea otters so much! Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest felt a real kinship with them because of how the mothers care for their young. If you're ever in Portland or Seattle or Monterey or Vancouver you should definitely take a tour to see them in the wild.

"If you're ever in Portland or Seattle or Monterey or Vancouver you should definitely take a tour to see them in the wild. " Already done 😁 Never been to Portland /Seattle/Monterey, though. Thanks for the tip. 😘

Depp & Rylance today in Venice before Barbarians premieres tmrw - I'm sure we'll get lots more less-blurry pics! Love these two like crazy. "Okay Johnny, let's settle this once and for all, which one of us is playing Pacino's Fool?"

One cinematic master passing his magic on to the next master.... Happy 79th bday De Palma! He's on the right - and seeing him together with Welles is amazing. And this, Get to Know Your Rabbit, De Palma's first studio pic which was taken from him and heavily re-edited, actually shot in Oct-Nov 1970 (concurrently w/ Welles shooting the film-within-a-film Other Side of the Wind scenes - yes that car scene too), but it was unreleased until June '72. So.... De Palma was 29-30y/o during pre-prod and filming....

a journalist and photographer doing a piece on Mifune - on the set of Seven Samurai, I think? - stage an amazingly goofy picture.
