He’s in Los Angeles this week to promote the movie and I walked in a little late because the theatre decided to not play trailers and I missed the opening credits. But I sit down and a half hour in, I hear someone whisper a question to one of their friends and the friend nods his head, as if he was answering a question about the movie. The light hit his face just right and what do you know, he looks just like Chalamet. Then at some of the more sensual parts of the movie, the question answering friend is getting looks and playfully nudged by his friends. Then at a very crucial scene in the end, he turned around and made an exaggerated sad face to see if his friends were tearing up. AND THEN THEY BOOKED IT JUST AS THE CREDITS ROLLED right before anyone was emotionally ready to leave the theatre, but that’s when I got the best look and yep. It was him. It may have been the most distracted I’ve been seeing a movie in theatres. It was just so unexpected. I loved the movie, and I can’t wait to watch it again so I can soak it all in better, you know, without the lead actor who’s on screen 99% of the time sitting in the row ahead of me.
