Wait, Tarantino's hoping to direct it but he's not writing it on his own?

So you're telling me Tarantino's 10th, and therefore final, movie will be a Star Trek movie? Disappointing.

So I guess it's gonna be like "live long a fucking prosper" or something like that

"Tarantino" and "Star Trek" in the same sentence? One of the stranger and unexpected combinations that I've heard of yet, but okay.

Will he make up his own racial slurs for Vulcans? You mean the Vulcoons? I'll see myself out.

you all are looking towards the shallow meme-y things people associate Tarantino with instead of his attention to detail, passion for the project, skills at building up tension and intrigue, and well rounded three-dimensional characters

I'll believe it when I see it. I just can't picture Tarantino directing someone else's script (even though the story was his and he'll obviously rewrite or something). My guess is that it's gonna play out like that PTA "Pinocchio" news. But if it does indeed happen...consider me slightly disappointed. I'm all in for QT making his sci-fi debut but I've got enough of "Star Trek" tbh.
