He wrote on his Facebook about how Bijou used to constantly taunt him for his sexuality and his weight. I feel bad for him because that must have been such a vulnerable point in his life and it's his first movie, and she made it hell for him. He says the late Brad Renfro stuck up for him.
And he says she burned a costume designer with a cigarette. I always thought that bitch was crazy and a piece of trash. Hopefully, she's a different person now. The Bully filming must have been one of the wildest because it was filled with fucked up young people.

She apologized and he accepted it. She was probably so fucked up at the time as a person that she didn't even consider how her behavior was affecting him or anyone else. I imagine her acting career didn't take off like it could have because of her behavior back then.

Apparently she can't even keep a story straight in an apology referencing such actions...

ZZZZZZZ...this is even MORE BORING than the usual weekly post-Weinstein "celebrity scandal" I've had to endure & yawn over since October. This isn't even a scandal. Whatddya know: The daughter of Poppa John Phillips (who had a long-term sexual relationship with his daughter Mackenzie & notoriously shared hardcore drugs with most if not ALL of his kids when they were underage) was a mean, borderline sociopathic little twat when she was 19 & bullied some fat kid?? Can't think of something LESS shocking & uninteresting if I tried. The ONLY shocking thing would be if she's changed, and for her sake I hope she has, but, frankly, the fact that ANY of that scumfuck's kids live to even be 30 is more shocking than this tediously NON story! I was a fat kid too, so he has my sympathy & I'd probably cry if I saw video of her treatment of him (would trigger awful memories), but to wait almost 20 years to say it just to cash in on the "victims of celebrities olympics" is not only petty but pretty transparent & self-serving. Especially considering what a goddamn HAS-BEEN Bijou is nowadays! Not even a case of "exposing a powerful person", more like "hey, remember that obscure actress from that one movie who dated that other actor once? You don't? Well, doesn't matter, the point is she was a huge bitch to me when she was a teenager 20 years ago!" This "culture of victimhood" bullshit really needs to stop. Weinstein & Ratner (even Spacey) are a different story. Shit like this? You either call the asshole out AT THE TIME when the bitch still has a career on the line & you defend yourself (if he'd done that in 2001 I would have applauded him...THAT'S demanding you be treated with respect), or if you chose to stay quiet for almost 2 decades, then you suck it up, take the lessons from that experience & use them as a weapon in the future, & you take solace in the fact she screwed up her career cuz of similar behavior. This? Just comes off as petty & WEAK AS FUCK! Again, he's not talking about Rachel McAdams, this is a talented young actress whose career flatlined, pretty obviously, for similar behavior. I roll my eyes at this story the way I would if someone said a similar story of Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton.

I was mainly interested in the story because Bully is a movie you never forget once you see it, I did feel bad for Franzese when I read it, and also I was wondering if this is a preview of perhaps the floodgates being opened for other stories about stars being horrible behind-the-scenes to come out. Publicists would have to be working overtime. Do you think Ellen Page is also being petty and "weak as fuck" for coming forward with how Brett Ratner treated her?

Worlds of difference, imho, if it was the director, ESPECIALLY if said director is being exposed for a history of sexual assault. She COMPLETELY LOST ME when she started with the Woody Allen garbage, for obvious reasons (false equivalency, presumptuous slandering & revisionist posturing just 3 of many I could name), and everything else she spewed after that point was self-righteous pretentious bullshit that honestly sounded like a corny-ass political speech, but she was 100% right to call Ratner out & had my initial support when I thought that was all she said. Oh, and I'm also a big fan of BULLY. Nick Stahl delivers one of the most skin-crawlingly loathsome but terrifyingly authentic portrayals of PURE FUCKING EVIL I've ever seen on film. The whole cast was superb, but he stands out, imo. A criminally underrated performance.

I think he is a great actor, period. It's a shame he's so troubled too. But I really loved Kelli Garner's performance playing that spaced out character she played. She was so convincing.

Glad Renfro stuck up for the guy. Always liked him as a actor & it truly sucks that he died . Bijou Phillips seems like one of those "mean girls" in real life but glad she apologized.
Oh and yeah, Bully is one of those films that sticks with you forever.

This is what Ellen Page said about Woody Allen: "I did a Woody Allen movie and it is the biggest regret of my career,” Page, 30, wrote, referencing the 2012 film To Rome With Love. “I am ashamed I did this,” she added. “I had yet to find my voice and was not who I am now and felt pressured, because ‘of course you have to say yes to this Woody Allen film.’ Ultimately, however, it is my choice what films I decide to do and I made the wrong choice. I made an awful mistake.” Evan Rachel Wood also said something similar some time ago when someone told her that she had worked with Allen on Whatever Works. I would ask Page (and Wood) about whether Allen treated them well or not.

I would ask Page (and Wood) about whether Allen treated them well or not. First of all, Wood's statement was different. She said she didn't know about the UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS when she worked with him & that she wouldn't do it again "unfortunately". NEVER said she regretted it or that it was a mistake. The "unfortunately" also implies it was a positive experience but she feels morally she couldn't do it again. Disagree with her, as there is literally ZERO EVIDENCE of Woody's guilt, but at least she's not indirectly trying to shame actors who work with him, which Page did in her self-righteous diatribe. And BULLSHIT on a 24-year old Oscar-nominee not having "found her voice" yet. I'm bipolar, and possibly on the edges of the spectrum, and even I had found my fucking voice at 24. Talk about REVISIONIST POSTURING & VIRTUE SIGNALING!

I think Ellen Page does regret doing Allen's film, but it's probably because now people can hold it over her when she's trying to speak out against sexual abusers and harassers "well you made a film with Woody Allen, so you're a hypocrite." I'm not saying Woody Allen is a sexual abuser, but that's how people see him. The accused are assumed guilty.

But, yeah, Bijou was a junkie mess back in the day. Not that that necessarily equates to being a shitty homophobic c-rag, but it probaly didn't help matters.

HO-LEE SHIT, I did not even know that she was married to that scumbug. Girl just changed to a different brand of mess. Did you hear about Heather Matarazzo's recent allegation (on Franzese's podcast) that Phillips shoved her against a wall and forcibly gripped her throat during a party? It was around the time they were promoting Hostel II. Horrible.
