Even though there's a small chance it might get a second, Pitch was pretty awesome entertainment.

Comedy wise The Class ran for less than a Season back in 2006 - 2007, it had potential and I liked it a lot, but it was cancelled. It was replaced with The Big Bang Theory. so I guess from a Network perspective it can't be called a bad decision.

This is the only answer. But Rubicon is a close second.

Nothing beats Freaks and Geeks for me. Masterpiece. It's about time for a rewatch too.

Cowboy Bebop. By anime standards, that's the norm, I know, but what an awesome show.

Freaks and Geeks, hands down.
And this had more than one season, and its fair share of narrative problems and was too slow and soapy at times, but I miss the HELL out of Caprica sometimes. So much potential.
