I only said that it will probably get both IMAX 3D and IMAX 2D releases. Yes. I was just adding on to it. I'm having a feeling that IMAX 3D/IMAX 2D sharings will be a trend from now on, which has been happening a lot more common starting from early this year. |

And it'll likely result in 3D eventually being axed altogether, I'd imagine. You can sell movies in 2D IMAX, and have a great experience anyway. |

And it'll likely result in 3D eventually being axed altogether, I'd imagine. You can sell movies in 2D IMAX, and have a great experience anyway. I’m... not too sure about that, especially with films like ‘Star Wars: Episode 9’ coming out in 2019. Pretty sure IMAX wouldn’t ignore something on THAT caliber. I can see IMAX 3D going for more of “selected cinemas” route like ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, but not necessarily getting axed entirely, especially with ‘Avatar’ sequels coming out soon. |

Also I guess they wanted dem IMAX screens to be completely consumed by the image. But I see your point. "The Avengers" used the 1.85:1 aspect ratio but it was a pretty clean movie. This one, judging from the trailers, looks like a hulking visual mess, it's like somebody shot it through a bowl of porridge. And that's just from my monitor! I've seen the trailer in IMAX before "Dunkirk" and I couldn't see fucking shit, it was just a clusterfuck of visual noise. And because of the aspect ratio this visual noise doesn't even have any room to at least be seen. |

Many people complained about Avengers ratio too, even called it a TV movie. It's not a very visual movie but it wasn't a mess. In contrast JL already looks drab. |

Reviews are mixed. 51 on Metacritic with 25 reviews. RT hasn't updated their score but some are saying that it shows 52% on flixster app.
Consensus seems to be better than Batman v Superman. So i guess it's a relief.
