S2 premiere was great, last two episodes have been a little underwhelming. Gamby going around waving a gun at everyone is a bit too ridiculous for me... but of course Goggins is amazing and makes up for any issues the show has.
The central mystery is pretty obvious.... so many tells as to who shot Gamby. The real mystery is why. I hope they don't spend the whole season on it, but they probably will.

Man, Sunday's episode sure took a turn. This season has had so many hysterical and cringe-inducing moments.

I think this show is hysterical and season 2’s mystery is genuinely intriguing. I can’t believe there are just 2 more episodes. I’m gonna really miss this show when it’s over.

Last two episodes were absolutely amazing!! Goggins really might be the GOAT television actor. It has to be Abbott that shot Gamby, right? I thought it was Ray for a while because that would have been so random and hilarious, but now I know that's a bit too ridiculous. Only reason Abbott showed up was to plant all that stuff in Russell's trunk. I hope, at least. McBride/Goggins are so amazing together, and I don't want the series to end with them at each other's heads.

My theory is Russell's ex-wife Christine for some reason -- although they just got divorced, we already saw that she's nuts, and that Russell would benefit with Gamby's death. Mi-Cha would be fucking hilarious though. Fuck I'm gonna miss this show, Goggins and McBride.

Just got done watching that finale. I'm satisfied with how it all played out. I actually didn't suspect Abbott as the shooter for some reason. I was always convinced it was Dr. Brown's oldest son as payback for what Gamby and Russell did to her. I was also kinda hoping Abbott would have gotten eaten by the tiger, but that's just because I like seeing villains get fucked up. I'm glad the three main characters had happy endings, and I'm especially happy that Gamby and Russell remained friends since they showed that Russell is capable of goodness. It was a fun, fucked up show, and I think now I might finally watch Eastbound and Down.

Pretty great finale.
Steve Little as Gamby's new vice principal was fucking perfect. I loved that.
The stuff with the tiger was a bit much, but I'm glad both Gamby and Russell got good endings. And as perfect as those 9 hours were, I really would love to see these characters again. Or at least another collaboration between McBride and Goggins.

This had an excellent bunch of characters that I wish I could have seen more of. The episode with Russell and Christine was as heartwrenching as it was hilarious. And I did miss Dr. Brown's presence throughout the season. She was a major part of what made the first season so great.

Belinda Brown was sorely missed... but at the same time I'm glad they didn't try too hard to give her more screentime at the expense of the main plot. Honestly....... this show and its characters/performances were so good, there is potential for multiple spin-offs. Gamby at the middle school, Russell at the department store, Belinda Brown at her private school. Not saying it has any chance of happening, but it's nice to dream.

I think now I might finally watch Eastbound and Down. The Vice Principals finale made me want to revisit it -- could have also been that random trailer for it they put in. Haha. Haven't seen it in years and it had some ups and downs, but overall the show is a lot of fun.

Just finished season 2 and I knew it. I knew the killer was not Lee. It was becoming way too obvious and the only other person who had a motive was Abbot. The giveaway was in the episode when the vice principal said it was a female and I figured Abbot was the only one. In addition, Abbot ad Lee have similar height/body type.

By the way, Walter deserves an Emmy nod. If he doesn't get one....
