Both great performances (though in very different ways) - who's your choice? Paulson brings her trademark intensity to Marcia Clark - this is a powerful performance - but as I've said before, the intensity is primarily surface-level. Dunst seems to draw from a deep reservoir of lost dreams and deadly ennui to create her eccentric, entirely unique character. This is a quiet performance that is equally as intense as Paulson's - simply in a more measured way. I think it's great that Paulson finally won an Emmy - and make no mistake, this was a fine performance for which to win - it's just a shame that it had to be at Dunst's expense. Anyway, who's your choice?

Dunst for sure.
As much as I loved Paulson in her show, I often wonder if seeing her in great Season of TV for the first time in a few years actually made me overrate her performance in my head.

Incredibly tough choice, and it was brutal that only one could win that Emmy. I think they're both absolutely masterful performances, but while I initially gave the edge to Paulson, I think overtime I've come to appreciate Dunst's flawless work just a little bit more. But again, they were both insanely good.

Dunst. Paulson had her moments, but Dunst could make a very strong case for being one of the top five best female performances in television history.

Jesus Christ, Dunst by far. She gives the best performance I've ever seen in a television series from a female who isn't Carrie Coon in The Leftovers. Paulson was a bit more tolerable than usual in ACS but basically any other actress could have pulled off her half-assed routine, as she did nothing to elevate the role into anything remarkable.

Loved Dunst's performance very much but it's definitely Paulson for me.
