Director of Warrior and The Accountant will direct Suicide Squad 2. Thoughts? Honestly anything is step up from David Ayer. link

It's funny to me that I still see people blaming WB interfering for the movie's shittiness, when Ayer has long since come out and said that the cut we saw was his.
O'Connor is a pretty boring choice. I like Warrior, but The Accountant and Pride & Glory are so average and forgettable.

But... but why?
"Hey fellow super villains, maybe this time they will stick to their word and let us free!"

Meh. Probably will pass on this shit.
On a side note, is Affleck gonna still be the Batman for Reeves' film?

A safe easy choice. Couldn't be any worse then last time, I guess.

I like Warrior, but The Accountant and Pride & Glory are so average and forgettable. Ayer may have said that for PR reasons though, or simply decided that he didn't mind the final cut. We may never know fully what happened behind the scenes, either way I doubt the original cut was THAT much better. It may have been better edited, but that's it.

Really would've liked to see what Gibson would've done but that was too good to be true. I just really wish we could get to see Ayer's original, darker cut from actual editors not a trailer company...

Unless this gets an all-time good or all-time bad kinda reception I think I'll pass on it.

Anything’s a step up from hula dancing Cara Delevingne.

"We need an idea for a movie." "Okay, okay, hear me out... we have Margot Robbie in short-shorts and she walks around and says crazy things but all cute-like..." "We already did that." "Yeah, yeah, but we do it again!" "Brilliant!"

Isn't he supposed to be in the Shazam movie? No, I'm pretty sure it was announced not too long ago that he won't be in that.

Let’s give this one some benefit of a doubt, guys... They could easily use this sequel to correct the mistakes from the first movie. I know that's how Ouija: The Origin of Evil, for example, ended up being the much better second installment. They may actually end up with new writers and/or a new director this time. Plus if they were to take any notes from the success of Wonder Woman, the studio may also learn to become less hands-on the production this time around.

I could see this work out as long as we have some interesting additions to the squad. Black Manta, Cheetah, Deathstroke , Killer Frost would make the team a lot more interesting and it would make a lot more sense for them to go against someone as Black Adam.
