1) Fetish by Selena Gomez is her best song that I've listened to of hers. I'm surprised it isn't blowing up the charts. It's so sexy
2) Katy Perry on Feels with Calvin Harris seems better than anything on her new album. Her voice sounds chill and isn't loud and yelly as usual
3) I don't like Taylor Swift, but I'm excited for her new album if it's going to be like 1989
4) Despacito is annoying as fuck
5) Why do people hate Coldplay?

I agree with point 5. I don't get the hate for Coldplay.

I see Taylor Swift's next album is called Reputation. She'll probably try to position herself as poor Taylor who has been so mistreated by the media. You were caught lying, bitch. Stop it. This girl is a professional victim and it's annoying.

I'm probably missing a lot, but from what I gather, Kanye called Swift when he was making The Life of Pablo and asked her if she was okay with the lyrics for "Famous" ("I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? I made that bitch famous"), and she approved it. Then when the song came out, she turned around and resorted to her usual trick of painting herself as a victim, saying it was a sexist track and Kanye was looking to take credit for her accomplishments, and he got a lot of backlash for that. But it turns out that he'd recorded their original conversation, so Kim Kardashian leaked the audio of Swift saying she had no problem at all with the lyrics, proving that she knew about the whole thing and went along with it, thus shutting down her saintly victim narrative. Good times. I assume that's what Carrie's talking about.

I don't know any version of the story, even Kim/Kanye's tapes that included they quoted the line "I made that bitch famous" to her..... I think it's pretty clear that part of the line never got shared with her and she freaked about it (or at least pretends that's what she had the problem with etc..........)

Before that recording came out, she accepted an award giving a speech that was clearly aimed at Kanye going, "you know, some people along the way will try to take credit for your fame..." Can she be any more of a phony? After she was exposed, apparently social media kept using snake emoji's nonstop, so on the promo for her next album, she used a visual of a snake. Girl, please.

Confession time: I've liked most of her other singles, but "Look What You Made Me Do" is just awful to me. Plus, I was already over her mean girl antics before, but in the age of Trump as President, she's just even more annoying to me. It's unfortunate because I think she could put her fame and other assets to better use like how she handled her recent sexual assault case, but she reverts to form again with all of these high school antics. Releasing her a new song with lyric video just one day after Katy Perry puts out her new video, planning to debut the actual video at the VMAs even though Perry is the emcee this year, releasing her album on Kanye West's late mother's birthday?!? I wouldn't be surprised if there's songs about Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston on her new albums either. I can only give her a pass for so long, but she's almost 30, and she's still doing the same thing with each album release.

I liked Coldplay's first two albums, but I haven't paid much attention to them since. What is the criticism? That they are too boring or soft, I'm guessing?
