Alright ellery!! I just mentioned you in a post recently pal, I missed my Albert Finney buddy. Keaton was wonderful and so were the moving words others said about her. Her career has had a lot more depth than you initially might think too - like I would say a woman made and performed so convincingly in Looking For Mr Goodbar, Mrs Soffel, and Baby Boom alone mined the extremes of comedy and tragedy and push and pull tensions inherent in being a 20th century female juggling career, love, expectations, ethics, .......................and you don't even really think of her in those 3 roles much until you really look (and she has other more signature ones of course).

I might say she's kinda underrated as a dramatic actress. And I haven't seen Goodbar or Soffel. But with Reds & Shoot the Moon, I don't think she gets enough praise for those terrific, maybe among decade-best perfs. And even in her WA's, I find more to appreciate in her work on rewatches - always surprised again and again how great she is in Manhattan, how much she carries Manhattan Murder Mystery, etc. Baby Boom - Not mentioned enough! I love the first half (before the move to Vermont)... And Keaton's hilariously overamped perf. How she swigs from the baby bottle to chase her Valium.
