I love it as a song, but not sure how I feel about it as a Bond song since it's so languid and morose. Gonna have to see how it plays with the cold open.

I had my doubts initially, but I really liked this. Early on, it felt like it would maybe be too low key, but there's just enough sexiness and build to it that makes it feel appropriately Bondian.
Love the "spy" chord at the end.

I like this sooooo much better than “Writing’s on the Wall,” if only because there’s *pay-off* at the end. A Bond theme that doesn’t explode at the end is not a true Bond theme. There’s a lot to unpack, but given that it’s Craig’s last outing, the atmospheric and morose slant feels oddly appropriate.

Next year's Best Original Song winner? The last two Bond songs won...

Next year's Best Original Song winner? The last two Bond songs won... She could, but it depends on how her competition stacks up. Adele’s was a towering force, and Sam Smith had fuck-all to challenge him.

Yeah like people said there's no big payoff but overall i liked it. Better than 'Writings on the Wall'.

Absolutely love this. It's a proper old school Bond theme,a slow burn wonder, which is surprising given how young Billie Eilish is.I thought she'd do something a bit edgier. Her voice really suits this kind of song though.

I think it's pretty great. And I love that Eilish didn't go against her own self for this - it totally is a Billie Eilish song through and through while also fitting the current Bond series quite well. Didn't expect her to go full-on belting but that just made the song and that moment even more powerful.

Yeah, it should have a "payoff" or else it doesn't feel like a Bond song...
It's a wonderful song nevertheless.

I'm turning into an old fart so I didn't even know who Billie Eilish was until she won all those Grammys and this is the first of her songs I've heard. I was kind of assuming she was super trashy pop maybe based on how she dresses but that's not what this is. It was okay. A slow burn and kind of goes nowhere musically, but that might fit with the title sequence. Zimmer's orchestral arrangement and Johnny Marr's expressive guitar part kind of dress it up a little and make it sound good. Not really sure what to make of her voice. Probably a middle of the pack Bond song.

Probably a middle of the pack Bond song. If this means any consolation to you I'm "only" 34 and didn't know she exists until I heard that she was chosen to sing the Bond song. But probably this just means I'm also old already. But then also the instrumental music to me is always waaaaaaaaaaaay more important than the singing.
After listening to it now I think the song is okay, not great. Interestingly they chose another rather shrill voice again, probably inspired by the oscar win...

Same here. I'm only 33 and I'm in the same boat as you guys. I know who Eilish is but I only really know that one song - wouldn't say she's trashy pop though she doesn't stand out from what I've heard. I know roughly 10% of what's currently going on in pop culture these days.... that includes movies. I've seen very little from some of the names regularly mentioned these days.

Don't love it, don't hate it. I think I'll like it more in context but it's not the thing I can just listen to by itself.

Because it’s his last hurrah, I’m betting that Daniel Craig drops the F-bomb. Clearly doesn’t give a toss anymore.
“The name is Bond.....James Bond......IS THAT FOOKING CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YER SUNSHINE???”
Still haven’t got an official runtime yet though....but think it will top out at around the 160-165min mark.

Casino Royale: Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violent action, a scene of torture, sexual content and nudity. Quantum of Solace: Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, and some sexual content. Skyfall: Rated PG-13 for intense violent sequences throughout, some sexuality, language and smoking. Spectre: Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action and violence, some disturbing images, sensuality and language.
No Time to Die: Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action, some disturbing images, brief strong language and some suggestive material
Hmmm, sounds like not a lot of sexy time for Bond this time around...

Doesn't look like an official poster. Maybe it is but it doesn't look like it. A still from a scene we saw in the trailer.

The title of this movie reminds me every time that I hear it of this iconic moment in the history of the cinema.

I think it's a fantastic song. Maybe it hasn't got the big payoff but there's enough Bond song feeling to it for me. It's kind of a surprise to me how much I like it, as I haven't liked any other Eilish songs I've heard.
