Can someone explain to me how the fuck the actress who played Barb in Stranger Things somehow got in for Best Guest Actress? There was absolutely nothing noteworthy about her character or performance whatsoever. Bizarre nom. Also David Harbour makes it in for Supporting actor, but Michael McKean misses? This is legit getting me pissed off lol.
Can't say I'm surprised at the total lack of Rectify once again. One of the best shows of all time ends its run with 0 Emmy noms to its name. Basically goes to show how pathetically predictable and boring this awards show is.

still snubbing Michael Mckean and Rhea Seehorn ffs. Zach Woods should have been fucking nominated, how the fuck can they snub Silicon Valley in the acting categories? Barb from Stranger Things nominated for Guest Actress? this a joke right?

Very happy for Rhys and Russell, and Bobby D and Queen Pfeiffer.
Dogshit House of Cards and Stranger Things getting in for drama series over THE AMERICANS is tragic.
Really wish Azaria or Nivola got nominated for WoL as well...
just crappy and disappointing nominations for the most part.

I cannot believe they didn't nominate Coon for The Leftovers. Like, how could they not? And ugh those Feud ladies got in over her! Wtf!! And no MEW too Fuck them! Carrie Coon in The Leftovers competed in Actress in Drama Series while Feud competed in Miniseries. Both productions competed in different categories.

I disapprove. At least The Leftovers got.... like.....an Emmy nod, so one point for that.

Another thing that I forgot: No Guest Actor nod for Stephen Dillane in The Crown? That's just baffling, and kind of insulting considering they'd already snubbed him hard for Game of Thrones. Right now I do not remember if Stephen Dillane was submitted in the Emmy ballot for The Crown but I do remember that he was never submitted to participate in the Emmys for Game of Thrones. So in this case it's not the Emmy's fault that they could not nominate him for Game of Thrones in first place. Game of Thrones, like Downton Abbey, were always very selective in when they submitted to compete in the Emmys.

I just confirmed and Stephen Dillane, as happened with Game of Thrones, was not registered to participate in the Emmys for his performance in The Crown. In this case, it was not fault of the television academy.

Shannon Purser for guest actress???? No no no I can't fucking believe this no no no People like to hate on Emilia Clarke, but this is seriously the worst Emmy nomination of all time. FUCK THIS Absolutely, wtf?! I didn't know it was that easy to get nominated for the Emmys. She did absolutely nothing and was pretty annoying the entire time on the show.

I'm happy for Anthony Hopkins, Kevin Spacey, Claire Foy, Evan Rachel Wood, Carrie Coon and Bob Odenkirk but surprised that Mary Elzabeth Winstead didn't get in!

The Purser nod makes me happy. It's ridiculous but I'm living for it.

I'm fairly certain that I saw his name on the list of submitted guest performances for his work on The Crown, but I could be wrong.
