Gaslit finale ("Final Days") on Starz - about a 9 Really like it so far - I mistimed my Starz trial and didn't get to finish the last few eps! I will sooner or later. It's well written and hilarious, scenes are always turning and interesting - it learns a great lesson from The Irishman, when in doubt give characters food. Whole cast ace especially Whigham (hmmm except Penn, a little too bluffy). I'm not remotely a Julia Roberts fan but she's good too, her very first scene alone starts this off as possible career best work. This should've done better at the Emmys.

Here's my update:
I finished season one of Only Murders in the Building today. Great show. Loved who ended up being the killer -- should have seen it coming. But I especially loved the last sequence. Hats off to the show for embracing diversity and "The Boy From 2B" episode was quite remarkable. Nathan Lane was excellent in "The Boy From 2B" episode. I laughed hysterically when Steve Martin was trying to get into the elevator.
Finished Episode 4 & 5 of Blackbird, which is another winner from Apple.
Decided to give For All Mankind another try. Finally completed Season 1, Episode 8.

The Boys S3 Ep 5 - Herogasm - no words/10 me watching this episode: Didn't care much for S1, and liked S2 but didn't love it until the final two episodes, but now I'm finally in this show's corner. Where the irreverence and extremes felt edgy to me before, this season they've not only upped the ante on the kind of crazy shit they're putting on screens but they're honing in much more savagely and topically on the social satire, and where Homelander's Trumpiness was implicit before (and Stormfront's Nazism more detached from reality), now the show commits 100% to lampooning existing rightwing internet culture and talking points with the subtlety of a lazar beam to the face, and it's fucking funny and entertaining as hell.

@ stabcaesar I'm jealous. I wish I could experience this show all over again for the first time. No one does TV like Gilligan.

The Flight Attendant S2 Ep. 2 - "Mushrooms, Tasers, and Bears, Oh My!" *groans* It's not terrible but the conspicuous shift in direction from S1 to S2 has definitely been a put off. Part of what made S1 and Cuoco's performance as Cassie so much fun is her zaniness and messiness. She's a human trash bag who can't make a single good decision, and watching her bungle her way through this murder mystery she unwittingly finds herself at the center of was for the most part enormously entertaining. Add to the mix Rosie Perez doing some slight corporate espionage and Zosia Mamet as the hypercompetent best friend foil to Cuoco's hysterics and it was a pretty winning formula. Season 2 finds Cassie battling sobriety while navigating a new job as a CIA asset that she's wholly (but not quite entertainingly) unqualified for. In the first ep she tracks a "mark" through Berlin and he ends up dead in a explosion, so Ep. 2 deals with the fallout from that which includes Cassie following dead ends after brainstorming with Zosia Mamet (who seems less competent all of a sudden), but still has some free time in her busy day to go pick up her 1-year sobriety pin at the local AA. *sigh* Only six eps left so I'm gonna try to get through it. I'm mostly watching for Mamet and cast newcomer Mae Martin at this point. I fucking love Mae Martin.

I think I wasn't a fan of BB mainly because I found the characters either not very engaging or just really off-putting. In BCS I like most of the major characters except Chuck who annoys me to no end, and I heard he gets much worse?

I definitely don't recommend watching Saul before Breaking Bad, but if you have to, I would advise this: stop Better Call Saul and switch to Breaking Bad after the third-to-last episode of Season 6 of Saul (which is entitled "Breaking Bad"). Then watch Breaking Bad because by then, you'll be craving more Vince and you might be in a more receptive mood to what that show is doing and you will know a lot of the key players. Finish Breaking Bad, then watch El Camino, and then finish the final two episodes of Saul.

For All Mankind - Season 3, E1. Glad I revisited the show. Season 2 rocked. Turned into Die Hard in space. S3 off to a good start.
Better Call Saul - Season 2, Episode1-2. Love this show. I’ll give BB another shot after completely S1-5 of BCS. I absolutely love the IT computer guy’s ignorance when comes to drug dealing.
Reservation Dogs - Season 1, Episode 1. Good plot so far.

Another TV show I'm giving up after six episodes. This is like, ten shows in a row. Goodbye, Better Call Saul! You're not terrible, I just realized after this Mike-centric episode of yet more buildup that I just don't give a shit. A slow burn is one thing, but this is no burn.

It remains a slow burn but definitely kicks it up to another level. I understand it’s a commitment, but I’d highly recommend sticking it out.
