Drawn Together's "The Other Cousin" but in German. They even dub her blabbering reviews of "I am Sam."

I've started re-watching Twin Peaks, though really it may as well be first-time viewing because I saw it years ago when I was probably too young to really get into it.
Episode 1 - An all-time great first episode (and episode of television in general). Beautifully set up an atmosphere of mystery and intrigue without fully unleashing the utter bat-shit weirdness of what's to come. 10/10
Episode 2 - A little less good as the first episode, as I think this one is a bit more muddled and crammed with too many subplots (the first one did benefit from being twice as long, to be fair). However, it still had a great tone, and that fucking scene with Bob behind the bed was as haunting as I remember. 8/10
Episode 3 - Considering that many people adore this episode (I've even seen some call it the show's best), I was pretty underwhelmed. This was the first time where the more whacky, absurd elements became a little grating, and right now I'm so tired of everything Audrey. Still, the iconic stuff at the end is enough to save it from being a complete disappointment. 6.5/10

[laugh] Well this is peculiar, I was planning on waiting for it to finish and then just binge. Anyway, to the topic at hand Lost - The Shape of Things to Come. I love S4 so damn much.

First episode of Insecure. Not really sure how I felt about it. It took me a while to figure out how I felt about it, but by the end of the season it was one of my favorite shows of the year. I think it's hard to see from a single episode how strong the writing and just the overall voice of the show is. For me, I've just been watching Terrace House for like 6 hours and I don't even know why but I'm so invested.

I just binge watched Season One and Two of Letterkenny (It's a Canadian comedy series from the streaming service CraveTV). I'm planning on watching The X-Files now.

Twin Peaks S2E18-22 It really started to pick up around Episode 19 and the finale was seriously one of the greatest things I've ever watched, movie or tv episode. I can't fucking believe that happened. I was also thinking that maybe the black lodge is like a time warp thing. You can spend days in there but it'll feel like maybe a few hours. Like it's some sort of giant time loop. It's really hard to explain. Twin Peaks seriously has to be the best TV show I've ever watched. I NEED MAY 21 TO COME NOW. Glad you enjoyed the finale! I just finished my own rewatch of the series and was once again absolutely blown away by the craziness of that final episode. I don't think there's ever been anything on television before or since that has attained such visceral and purely cinematic heights. It's like being trapped in a waking dream. Please let us know your thoughts on the film Fire Walk With Me. The tone is quite different than the show (it's MUCH darker), but if you enjoyed the abstract, feverish style of the finale then you're in luck because there's a lot more where that came from.

Kimmy Walks into a Bar
Solid episode, but not among the best of the show so far.

Just finished Twin Peaks season 1 sort-of rewatch, and honestly, it's a very mixed bag for me. Some elements are bold and wonderfully creative, such as the funeral scene and the bird getting killed, while others are as campy and eye-roll worthy as any soap opera I've ever seen. While I think the intention was to reflect the soap opera genre among others, that doesn't mean I enjoy the melodramatic storytelling and characterisation, as well as really clunky dialogue.
It looks great and the direction is stellar across the board, but it's far from the all-time classic many hype it up to me imo, or even the good mystery drama I remembered it being from when I was young. Still, the first and last episodes are amazing.
Episode Ratings: Ep. 1 - 10/10 Ep. 2 - 8/10 Ep. 3 - 6.5/10 Ep. 4 - 9/10 Ep. 5 - 6.5/10 Ep. 6 - 6.5/10 Ep. 7 - 6.5/10 Ep. 8 - 9.5/10
Season rating: 7/10

Yea it's not as good as the show. I was continuously wondering if Lynch was working with a lower budget here than what he got for the show and at some points it didn't even feel like Twin Peaks. It's got its moments of greatness but sometimes it just falls flat, especially during the first 20 minutes. Sheryl Lee's acting here is hit or miss but when she's good she's really good. Ray Wise was consistently great throughout the whole film. The movie still left me with questions though. I mentioned on this thread that I thought the black lodge might be some kind of time warp or time loop or something that doesn't abide to normal time constraints and this was even more solidified by the fact that apparently Cooper was already in the black lodge before he ever went to Twin Peaks. I was also wondering that if Cooper knew Laura was gonna be the next victim why didn't he go to Twin Peaks earlier to try to prevent it? Telling her not to take the ring surly couldn't be enough. And how did Bobby get away with killing Mike, or was that just in Laura's head?

"Fifty-One," almost through now with my first viewing of Breaking Bad.
Jumped in about a month ago, figuring it would be something that'd take me until at least summer watching on-and-off...I'm not ready for it to end...

First episode of Bitchy Rich People Being Bitchy At Each Other and second episode of the new season of Girls. Big Little Lies was kinda interesting, and I liked the performances for now, but I'm really over that whole framing device they use. It's really started to feel like that kind of structure is basically saying, "It's not interesting right now, but it'll get weird I promise so please bear with us," like they don't trust themselves to tell the story compellingly without cutaways to characters explaining or at least hinting at the significance of things.
Girls was predictably mediocre, except when it dipped into pure stupidity with the fake cabin horror bit. I basically measure the quality of an episode by how much Elijah is in it at this point, so this was like a C-.

Wow really? I gave up on Walking Dead after the start of Season 7, but Carol has been the one thing I like about it the last few seasons. It's constant moping and crying now. Oh dear. They definitely ruined her character last season with that weird, out-of-nowhere guilt/suicidal storyline. Before then she was the only character (besides maybe Maggie and Michonne) I gave the tiniest of fucks about.

I thought it was just a phase and she'd be back to normal soon but they've been dragging it the fuck out.

The Crown: "Act of God" -- Best episode yet. Fantastic television, save for that cringeworthy exposition scene with Mary explaining how the "Queen" title works.
