They should be casting shortly...... Who're you hoping for? Personally, I'd love them to reteam with Bardem or Cage. Or others like Turturro, Billy Bob...

Is this the tv show they're doing or something different? They need to bring back Turturro.

Was this rumored to be a miniseries? Or some weird TV/film combo? Probably gonna have a big ass cast... so why not Bardem, Cage, Turturro, and Billy Bob! That's what I'm talking about! Btw, obviously my first wishful-casting was Pacino. But yeah - they're doing this as a miniseries but with the theatrical formatting on top of it as well. So this'll end up being the Coens' longest film.

So looking forward to this. Even their lesser works are beautifully made.

Would love to see 'em team up with Tom Hanks again, especially as the "evil encroacher."

Can't fucking wait, this sounds awesome.
As for casting, I need to see Walton Goggins in this. Perhaps as the "high-plains drifter" in the second story. Would also love to see Sam Rockwell as the "singing cowboy" in the first.

Why does this keep happening. To be fair, if they give him the Alien: Covenant treatment, I'm all for it.

Nelson should be perfect for that role. And Stephen Root is certainly always welcome.

Will definitely still be watching this , but the casting isn't exactly ideal for me. But I'm just some lowly asshole on a message board, while the Coens are Oscar winners so what do I know. I trust them .

Sounds cool, and the cast sounds great. Of course Franco would be in this, he never sleeps after all.

Just based on the content this is one of the most interesting things they've taken on in my opinion. Also it should give them varios freedoms to use humour.

Bruno Delbonnel is the cinematographer.
He worked w/ the Coens on Inside Llewyn Davis. Also known for Amelie. Interesting pick for a Western - Delbonnel likes soft-focus and bloomy lighting. Deakins isn't shooting anything now, curious why not him. Or I'd liked to have seen the Coens reteam with Lubezki.
