Plebs. Bohemian Rhapsody is easily the weakest of the ones done so far - tho there will be plenty worse than that coming up I'm just gonna guess. Starting about now.
This feels kinda like girlfriend's favorite song iow normie-ish. It's cute but it falls off fast. I'll say 6.

A solid bit of melodic pop tanked for me by an annoying vocal performance by Liam. 4.

9 - it's a great single and unlike Queen doesn't include a line as fucking daft as "Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me" There is very little Oasis did - in 94 / 95 - that is not at least an 8 ........even into 96 before the letdown of Be Here Now the great songs just poured out of Noel Gallagher......I mean The Masterplan was basically their gift wrapped trash and most bands can't dream of matching it anyway ffs

4/10. Meh boring soft rock and Liam's thin nasally voice doesn't help.

There are so many better Oasis songs you could’ve done My thoughts on this is pretty much what I think about them in general but Don't Look Back in Anger and The Masterplan are pretty good.

Anyway, 4/10 for this normie wank. Atrocious vocals. Britpop in general makes my ears bleed tbh.
Request: Lady Grinning Soul by David Bowie.

Barely even music, a joke leftover from the aggressively British Gen X monoculture of the 90s that still bleeds its way into the nadir of any pub karaoke night. At least Come On Eileen is fun and gets people up dancing - this just reeks of Strongbow and bucket hats.

It’s fine. The acoustic guitar part sounds a little too contemporary Christian rock-ish to me now, but that’s not the song’s fault. I don’t mind the vocals like some do, but I like them better in the verses when they’re more active instead of how they’re sustained and kind of flat in the chorus.

I like the first Elastica album a lot. I'd take it over anything Oasis, Blur, Suede, and Pulp. Not familiar with Manic Street Preachers. I'm interested tho.
