Thoughts on my first in person WNBA Game -um and the last one........ until the Indiana Fever get good  * Caitlin Clark actually is way more amazing in person than TV - she is hilarious to watch in the way she court manages and when she gets taken out of a game she is almost in shock......I think my gf has a non-ironic crush on her * Clark legit could have had 10 more assists tonight if her teammates could finish a fucking layup...... Aliyah Boston in particular and Boston was Rookie of the Year last year......what a letdown Boston has been...... * I think Clark almost HAS to be a point guard on the Fever because they run very few plays FOR her and her teammates are not good enough to let her be a 2 guard ...... * I have never seen a visiting player - in any sport - swamped like she was before, during and after the game - and I have seen Messi, Gretzky, Lemieux and Kobe Bryant among many others ffs ......and DURING the game she is triple covered constantly - no one will ever triple cover Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, Cameron Brink or any other rookie - because they don't score enough anyway.......Clark is a Rock Star and she's relatively short - it's absurd how teams swamp her........you people think she's "overhyped"? - imagine if she played in shitty LA or NYC .......  * When Clark starts getting "Superstar Rules" - she could go to the foul line 12-14 times a night ..........she dropped 30 tonight - hardly got to the foul line ......this is her 2nd time getting 30 in just 12 games......not to pick on Angel Reese but come on......she doesn't score like that.....not even close....... * They announced it as the most people to watch any pro game live in years ......... it was OVER 20,000 and Angel Reese drew 10,000 the previous night.......Clark is just a way bigger deal......talent wise, endorsements wise, money wise...... This isn't even her home court ffs - last night and there were a TON of Iowa yellow there: |

Yeah I mean I'm her biggest stan and even I don't care about the Olympic team because - I have a lot of albums to listen to buddy and as long as I'm not watching that WNBA Goes To Paris Shit I can catch up Lots of stories have come out today that she may be added if Chelsea Grey never gets healthy anyway............basically the argument for Clark is she's the Christian Laettner of this team.........where was Christian Laettner compared to Caitlin Clark - pfffft  |

No She could not try out because the tryouts were the same time as the final 4............... College Players had to get an invite to be considered..........she was the only college player to be consdered this year |

Back in action tonight - oh look who is the fastest woman player to 200 Points and 75 assists - EVER - and she hasn't even peaked yet .... and she did it in 2 less games - all while being triple covered ....should be fun tonight to be in a bar and watching a shitty WNBA game instead of The Stanley Cup finals while my gf yells at me to pay attention .....and I apologize, get her a beer and wonder where my balls went.......
