In all seriousness, have the devs done a single thing right since 2.0? I guess they balanced observer, that was a good change. But anything else?
First, I must make a correction: apparently the prince thing ISN'T a feature... but a "bug"... something that needed NO FUCKING FIXING!!!
But other than that, I have played 4 games tonight (and I amazingly won my prince game despite a sheriff claiming pally for the first 3 days, who I exed)... and 3/4 have had either a bunch of leavers or people actively throwing. Hell, even in one game the dead cult were apologizing for how badly the BD were throwing.
Yes, the dead members of a team who were getting the better end of the deal were pissed that they were winning.
I didn't play for like 10 days and we're even worse off than before.

15 minute lobby for a game where prince claims hunter ON THE STAND!!! and gets axed, causing 3 other BD to basically say "fuck this thrown garbage" and leave... and to top it off, the evils decided to kill the neuts.

Star Wars: Fallen Order.
So far, this game is an absolute mindblowing visual spectacle.
Sadly, I do not want to play a Star Wars game where I'm swinging on vines, and spend half of my time climbing up the sides of buildings/rockfaces. Throw in the fact that it's been a whopping one chapter and I called out two major plot points before their reveal.

Loaded the game up hoping for a couple of games tonight. Lobby had about 5 people in it, no one talking so I tabbed out and surfed for a while. Made periodic tabs back in once in a while to see what's what...
forgot about it for a while and tabbed back in: 30 minutes. Only 7 people. This game is 100% dead.
I don't like the term snowflake and have never used it before, but... oh boy.
So there's a newbie in my first game tonight, name of Ayzanna844 or something like that. She botches it up a bit, but isn't too bad. I tell her that she did pretty good for a noob... and for five straight games she's complaining about me demeaning her and being rude to her.
I... was praising her. Seriously, she was fine. I actually asked her about it, and she says that she's angry that I called her a noob and that I "act like a know it all" (presumably because I was giving pointers). This is what the game has come to. Trolls, throwers, and... snowflakes. Sheesh.
BTW... I somehow still have a 45.7% win rate in this game.
It's not your fault. I can honestly say that at least 80% of my losses are because my team won't do their jobs.
For example, I was a sheriff yesterday who had a scout pop. I notify the court of this. No counter claims against me, so I'm confirmed. The guy claims to be hunter and not converted, so I say fine. He then bleeds me. We have no healers. I die.
He was hunter.
We lose, because I was the last BD investigative.
The next game, the king will not point or vote for anyone all game because "we have no leads." I lead a charge to get king executed, but of course he's BD king.
The MM and the GK both helping the reaper get the win. I was sadly the assassin in this scenario. And no, I wasn't the one voted out... it was the obviously reaped guy.
I haven't played for a while, I was honestly sick of the throwing. In ToS it isn't that bad in a sense, since *everybody* throws and strategy goes out the window. In ToL, you need quality play to enjoy it, the game is too long and too complex to not care.
I'm playing Stardew Valley right now, which looks like a nice little calm farming simulator, but it has me in panic trying to figure out how to make the most out of each day. Also, I cry a lot because I'm poor and I know that I will always be poor.
In other words, it is a pretty spot on simulation of being a broke kid with no direction in your life. I like it a lot. I may come back to ToL once I'm done with SV, but if I have to decide between the two, SV will win every time.
