I feel like Oppenheimer and Killers are locks.
Dune shouldn’t have much of a problem.
I’m currently predicting Barbie for 9 but there are a few more that I’m not predicting that I could get.
Next most likely is probably The Color Purple. Currently predicting for 7 but there is more potential if it’s a hit. Helps to have multiple potential actors and maybe a song.
Maybe Poor Things in its best case scenario?
Any others?

Oppenheimer, Dune: Part Two and Killers feel the most likely, and I can certainly see a Poor Things over-performance like The Favourite (especially if Dafoe and/or Ruffalo join the chat in Supporting Actor). Barbie also could especially if it gets two Song nominations.

So I’m currently predicting Killers, Poor Things and Oppenheimer to each have 12 nominations. I have Barbie with 8 but there are a few others that are very possible. Have Maestro with 7 but not a lot more wiggle room and it could miss some that it’s predicted for. It would have to be a true best case scenario.

Predictions + the best case scenario in parentheses:
Killers of the Flower Moon: picture, director, actor, actress, supporting actor, screenplay, cinematography, production design, editing, score, costumes, sound = 12 (and then maybe even makeup)
Oppenheimer: picture, director, actor, supporting actor, supporting actress, screenplay, cinematography, production design, editing, score, sound, VFX = 12 (and then maybe even costumes and makeup)
Poor Things: picture, director, actress, supporting actor, screenplay, cinematography, production design, editing, score, costumes, makeup = 11 (and then maybe even VFX and another supporting actor)
^those ones I'm fairly confident in. But then there's also:
Maestro: picture, actor, actress, screenplay, cinematography, editing, sound, makeup = 8 (and then maybe production design and costumes which would bring it to 10... and then there's also director if AMPAS really responds to it)
Barbie: picture, supporting actor, screenplay, production design, song x2, costumes = 7 (and then maybe director, actress, editing and makeup which would bring it to 11)
