Led Zeppelin - I’ve seen Page & Plant but just not the same as being able to see the OG band back in their prime. Kinda like watching and edited version of Goodfellas on TNT
Grateful Dead - I’ve seen every iteration of the band except for one with Jerry Garcia
Jimmy Hendrix - Pretty self explanatory
Stevie Ray Vaughan - The greatest electric guitarist of all time imo
Queen - Think this is also pretty self explanatory
I’m sure I’m missing some great ones and will reconsider when I see what others post. I’ve also been very fortunate to see some pretty legendary acts live.

Ooh this is such a good topic. 1. I've heard debates over who was the best entertainer to watch put on a show out of Prince, James Brown, Michael Jackson, and of today, Beyonce. I usually go for James Brown out of this group, but I think Tina Turner should be included. Ike and Tina Turner (with the Ikettes in tow) in the early 70s would have been fire. My grandparents had a splendid time seeing them though. 2. Jimi effing Hendrix. No explanation necessary. 3. Led Zeppelin in 1969/1970. Can you imagine hearing Dazed and Confused then? Robert Plant's voice at its peak (I hear recordings from that time and wow) and before Jimmy Page got lost in the heroin (late 70s was rough, yeah). 4. Radiohead in the early 2000s. I desperately wanted to see them at the time, but noooo, they didn't want to come here. 5. Fleetwood Mac during the Rumors era. Stevie Nicks, a goddess onstage casting spells on the crowd (while coked out as hell). Stevie and Lindsay giving each other side eyes. Them performing The Chain. Honorable mentions that would have made up the top 10: The Who, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Janis, and Neil Young.

Daft Punk was a big one. Their retirement partly broke my heart for the sole reason that it meant I'd never get to see them in concert.
Husker Du is one of my all time favorite bands, but without Grant Hart (R.I.P.) it'll never happen, nor should it.
Joy Division is pretty much in the same boat as Husker Du. I almost saw New Order last year but ended up not being available. That was a major bummer.
The Kinks would probably be passed their peak but man I would've loved to have seen them. If by any chance Ray & Dave decide to do it I'm there.
Queen would've been cool. One of the first bands I really "knew" growing up. Freddie is a legend that passed shortly after I was born and without him it'll never be the same.

Most of my major classic rock ones have been covered, plus Daft Punk, so I'll say 5 new ones.
Kanye West (particularly the Watch the Throne or Yeezus tour) - Won't be surprised if he never tours again and at this point idk if I'd wanna see him if I had the chance. Shame that he has my favorite musical output of the 21st century.
Prince - The guitar, the songs, the dancing, the purple.
Tupac - Me Against the World and All Eyez on Me are two of my favorite rap albums so hearing any of those songs live would have been electric.
Pink Floyd - Surprisingly one of the classic rock bands not already mentioned. Hell, just seeing David Gilmour and Roger Waters be friendly would be awesome.
Outkast - Sigh.

Husker Du is one of my all time favorite bands, but without Grant Hart (R.I.P.) it'll never happen, nor should it. If you (could see) saw them during Warehouse - they came out and played it in order - and at that time there was no internet so the crowd would be staggered - that "playing our new album in full in order" was unheard of ........and no one was spoiling that for the next show. Also, before 1987 they played so many shows in odd venues .......Elk Lodges, City Armories, Neighborhood Recreation Centers and stuff.......I saw them........but a guy I know saw them open for REM at Harvard's student union / cafeteria or something weird like that.......and he has the stub to prove it

I didn't put Floyd on my list because when I watch videos of shows from their tours, they seem too disconnected from the audience for me.

Since all of my favorite bands were at their peak before I was born, the obvious answer would be my 5 fav bands - Nirvana, Pink Floyd, The Clash, The Velvet Underground, The Doors
But if I wanna be very specific I would’ve loved to go back to the late 80s and see Nirvana or Soundgarden open for Husker Du
