Apparently Paige also went to Africa to kill some local wildlife. And there is a difference between hunting pigs "humanely" and using dogs on them, so I can definitely see why Rogue took offense to that. It doesn't excuse any of the other ridiculous things she did and the other braindead statements she made, but that I get. Oh...oh no. Fuck Paige too then. Yeah, I'm not entirely sure why she embodies the Hero mantra, unless we think rustic country folk are heroic for living that way. I mean, I don't really think Rogue was wrong for that observation either, because it's all stupid (although it must be said, what was she expecting on the villains tribe?).

I actually don't mind this non-elimination twist. The idea of sending a spy over is fun. I just hope this gives Gerry some time to shine.
EDIT: Actually, hold up -- this twist is PERFECT for the fake idol scheme Ben came up with. Major missed opportunity there.
EDIT #2: Also, how hilarious would it be if Gerry shows up to the Villains tribe, Shonee works her magic for five seconds, and Gerry becomes the villain of the season.

I had the same thought about the fake idol.
But what they should have actually done is sent Paige over and then thrown the next challenge, and then just get rid of Gerry/Ben like they were going to anyway. Added bonus if they somehow fucked up throwing the challenge, and then Paige gets booted off the tribe she should have been on in the first place.

Have someone look at you the way Liz looked at that lasagna.
Gerry! I love that he’s stitched up over being jettisoned by the Heroes, and that he’s looking for a bit of revenge.
I am so sorry to see Sarah go, as I thought she had legs to make it far in the game, and probably would if it hadn’t been a mixed returnee/newbie season. I really think for all his talk about going after George, Simon knows that he’s better off not firing any shots at other returnees yet. Weaken George by taking away potential allies rather than going after him directly.

The way she looked at that lasagna, how happy she was to see Rogue gone. She seems to be fairly smart, and isn't just Shonee's lackey.

I can see that, especially as the latter two are physical players who tend to make it deep in general. I also think Sharni could potentially do well, provided she doesn't ostracize herself in the wake of the Gerry boot. (Her best bet is that Gerry flips to the Villains and remains a potential ally post-merge.)

“Operation Anaconda!” “Oh, I like that.” “… you know, like the snake?” “Yeah, I got it.”
“Blindsiding Simon with an idol AGAIN?” *Liz visibly orgasms* “He will CRY!”
That tribal was incredible. Just an incredible, masterful play by the King. That was nuclear-level stuff. And what makes it even sweeter is that Simon doesn’t even have an idol!
And then on top of it all — they blindsided us all and took out Fraser! George, you magnificent bastard.

Even though I feel like it would have made a little more sense for George, I'm glad they didn't put the votes on Jordie.

Even though I feel like it would have made a little more sense for George, I'm glad they didn't put the votes on Jordie. I think they went the right away about it. I feel like even though he's been burned by George now, I can see a world where Jordie potentially realigns with George down the line (especially as I think Jordie will beeline straight for Nina at a swap/merge, and I feel like Nina is going to align with Hayley, who is obviously connected to George). Fraser was too much of an unknown quantity and he seemed more locked-in with Simon than Jordie was. Now, if the Villains go to tribal again and they believe Simon's idol is real, then Jordie is pretty well fucked. He needs the swap/merge or not to go to tribal again. If he can make it past these next couple days, I think he's golden to go deep.

Man, Stevie’s breakdown in Shonee and Liz’s arms got me.
SHONEE HAS AN IDOL. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. SHONEE HAS AN IDOL.
God, I love Gerry. I really, really hope he can survive the next few votes.
Shonee in that immunity challenge was a terminator! And I feel like they really, really emphasized Liz in that one — some key reactions/cutaways, make me think they wanted us to pay attention to her. Liz stock is rising, gang. Get it while you can!
Damn, Paige throwing Sharni under the bus right from the get! I know she’s got some extremely unsavoury aspects of her background, but I am happy to see a self-proclaimed “Hero” showing some villainous displays of self-preservation.
This is why JLP reigns supreme on the hosting front. Completely makes the Heroes’ loss Paige’s fault in asking Sharni about it and just walks away from the resulting explosion.
It is a shame to see that Ben couldn’t rally the votes to flip it on the hierarchy. I woulda loved to see Sam or Dave go out here. Burning Sharni feels like a bit of a waste. At least Hayley, Flick and Nina should’ve seen the opportunity to blindside one of Shaun’s meat shield targets to make themselves more appealing as replacements.

Paige must be fuming at losing that reward to George at the auction. (Also, lol at George getting $60,000 — his fee for showing up, I guess? ) SHONEE HAS A SECOND IDOL. SHONEE HAS A SECOND IDOL. And she is willing to slip it over to Liz if the Villains lose. “Put the knife down.” Lol Flick. The montage of Jordie schmoozing and romancing the big boys was so much fun. I truly love this man. “Think about what God would want. What would God want?” *montage of Paige’s bossiness* “… I don’t think God likes Paige.” That might be the funniest exchange I’ve seen on AU Survivor. George and Evil Gerry in their lawn chairs were such a delight. Shonee clocking all the OG Heroes courting Gerry was great. “I’m voting for the other side tonight.” I really hope that was Evil Gerry talking. “So Matt, are you on the same PAGE?” JLP clearly has hopes tonight on where the vote goes. “If it goes our way, the king is dead. Long live the king.” Great voting confessional from Ben. When Shonee announces her idol play, the look on Paige’s face was Edgardo- and Alex-level stuff. Brilliant. And Shonee’s little smile when the last Paige vote was read — savage indeed. “Not my first rodeo.” Shonee and George are putting on a veritable clinic out there.

Week 3 leaderboard:
1. Shonee. George is the perfect shield for her, and even though she burned one idol saving him, she’s got a second idol in her bag. I do think she’ll probably slip that one to Liz if need be, but honestly, George is always going to be targeted first before her and the Spice Girls have the majority on Heroes 2.0. This was a hell of a week for us Shontent lovers.
2. Jordie. He took a bit of a hit when George blew his cover with Simon, but I think Jordie swapped to a solid position. He’s in the minority as far as the Villain tribe goes, but he swapped with Nina (pre-existing relationship), Hayley (will likely use him as a number), Liz (they can work together) and I feel like Jordie’s making great in-roads with the Meat Tray alliance. I feel like Shaun would keep Jordie around more than he would Simon. All Jordie needs is a good lucky break (maybe an idol play courtesy of Liz to take out a big boy?) and I think he’ll be comfortable.
3. Liz. The swap didn’t pan out as well as I’d have liked, as she is now in the clear minority . . . but her #1 ally has an idol and she could slip it to Liz if the time is right. I also feel Liz is scrappy and savvy enough to build things with Jordie and the potential in-roads he might have. She feels like the default choice for the majority to target as they fear Simon’s hypothetical idol is still a factor, but Shonee’s idol protection makes me think Liz can scoot past this point. Easily the top newbie left in the game, and I feel we’re meant to root for her.
4. Stevie. Honestly, Steve’s found himself in a very good position now. He’s past the stage in the game where his perceived lack of challenge prowess would hurt him most, and he’s swapped with his tightest ally (George) and the Shonee feud seems to be on the backburner for now. Stevie’s a loyal soldier now and I feel he’s insulated very well. I think we’ve got longevity in Steve’s game now.
5. George. I mean, he’s clearly been the top player of the week as far as tactics go. And he’s cruising to merge at this rate because they’ve got the majority. But his overt target is growing more and more, and while it’s never going to go away, I have him lower than the others because at some point, his luck will run out. I just hope it’s later rather than sooner.
6. Gerry. It’s a new day for the old dog, as Gerry is now full villain and he’s in with people who appreciate him. Like Steve, he’s past the stage in the game where his age and physicality are a liability; Gerry could run to the endgame at this stage. I only rate him a little lower because he’s a newbie and this is clearly a returnee’s season to lose, but I think Gerry is destined for a top six run at this point if he keeps this up.

Full disclosure, I'm pretty sure I've had the winner spoiled for me. Will absolutely try to not hint at it in any way shape or form.
