Armie "gobble me, swallow me, drip down the side of me" Hammer. Favourite performance of his short lived career. I'm personally leaning on Sorry to Bother You as his best outing (?) but Wounds (despite that film being hot garbage) is a close second next to his serviceable performance in Call Me By Your Name. He's bland and problematic to a fault but still fuckable and meets my type criteria for the week so here we are...
Favourite (or most notable) Hammer performance/film before he bit the dust? General thoughts...

CMBYN is his best performance,I honestly thought he should've been nominated for that.He was also really good in The Social Network and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

The one in which he pretended not to eat people this whole time! Or him as a potato in some parts of J. Edgar.
But in all honestly it's The Social Network. The only time he left a strong impression.

Free Fire, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and The Social Network are the only times I can say I really liked him as an actor, but he was quite good in those.

He was brilliant in CMBYN and should have received a BSA nomination . I also liked him in The Man From U.N.C.L.E , The Social Network ,Sorry To Bother You , Wounds , Mine and Hotel Mumbai.
Do you guys believe that his career is definitely over ?

I thought Austin Butler would have been the better choice for Hammer's role at the time, and now that his career's on fire, I feel vindicated!

Don't care if he's a cannibal, Oliver in CMBYN is one of the hottest performances ever.

Do you guys believe that his career is definitely over ? He's cooked and seasoned. Bones and all. Not seeing him recover from those allegations any time soon, especially considering that his ex-wife stands by the victims who made them...
