* Removal of the MAR like button for the endless daily "likes" of plebby things like "Yes, Fraser in The Whale made me cry too!"........"I totally called Condon's nomination!"........ and "I liked Maverick just like you did!"
* Cate Blanchett winning the Oscar (no jinx!) * The debut album - allegedly - by The Clockworks * Removal of pacinoyes' 2 year probation - arguably the greatest probationary period of the MAR era (um) - for stuff that would have gotten him "kicked off Awards Daily!" and him winning the inaugural "Ray Gittes Award for Excellence in Movie Posting" ..........also everyone finally getting his humor and him not referring to himself in 3rd person any more* MsMovieStar comments on Nicole Kidman's AFI ceremony

ohhhh if a new Westerberg album rumor is true that'd be #1 The rumor at this point says it will be an end of year Let It Be reissue (um) and (possibly) a Westerberg basement solo album both for Rhino and marketed together .......I tend to really - doubt that - but it's possible or half of it is I guess....... Let it Be itself would be a huge deal ........personally I can't see why they wouldn't just wait for its 40th (gulp) anniversary in 2024........but .........maybe they want to get a jump on it (?) because a lot of great stuff came out in 1984 etc So I guess basically in general I'm looking forward to rampant rumor mongering in 2023 |

Finally going to Japan in May... A trip three years in the making! My eldest son in January 2020 planned to visit Japan in the summer. He was studying Japanese back then. Then covid came. |
