I've said this a lot on here - that Jake Gyllenhaal is one of the most overrated actors on MAR - that doesn't mean he's not a fine actor - he is - it just means the level people hold him at is a bit baffling to me.........he's been great only 1 time to me (Nightcrawler) but people routinely call him among the best of his generation ......... but maybe that means his generation isn't "that" great? I always say when you are in your 40s (42 this month) and have THAT many roles on your resume - it's very tough to get "better" and get "noticed for being better"
But that's just me - I dont find Ethan Hawke that special either - but some do - and I'm often unnecessarily cranky anyway.........JG does take a lot of roles, does theater and usually delivers across a wide array of parts on film - and this could be a big deal that opens up other roles for him.......

The Practice creator Kelley is the writer, executive producer and showrunner of the series, which is inspired by the courtroom thriller novel of the same name by Scott Turow.
Presumed Innocent was published in 1987 and was turned into a 1990 feature starring Harrison Ford. It tells the story of a horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorneys’ office when one of its own is suspected of the crime.
