O. Russell appears to be cancelled with a Polanski/Woody level energy. Her comedy with that Stupinsky guy doesn't look Oscary. Is she done with Oscars?

Maybe 1? I don’t know. If the right role comes along, she could still possibly make it. But I don’t know if they’re gonna be that crazy about her (or how concerned she is anymore for getting one).

Her fans will have to eat alot of crow. Yes, Granik got her her first nom (which was meh to me), but it was O. Russell who kept her name popping every year alongside the mediocre X-Men and Hunger Games movies. |

I'll say 2 - like I always say - she's the Debra Winger of her era - no training, natural talent, depends on the roles she picks - Bad Blood would be 1 though....
The amount of Oscar nominations will eventually be a meaningless stat actually with Streep being a crazy outlier:
Eventually everybody will eventually have 7-9 nods or so - and a shitload of people will have 3 wins too - what remains to be seen is if DiCaprio is the most nodded male (quite possible) and if anybody besides DDL can win 3 male BA Oscars (again that's DiCaprio as the only real threat - if he can win one soon - that's 3 male BA btw NOT females - lots of females can do it - it's not the same thing, at all)
As the movies matter less (they do), the metrics to judge them matter less.....
