This looks surprisingly good, if a little morbid, but that was to be expected given the director.

This does look good. Evan sounds just like him. Well, I guess Emmy time for Niecy and Evan. Is this a limited series or movie?

I don't know. I'm predicting unintentional hilarity and bad taste (this is Ryan Murphy after all) but visually it looks tight. Clearly Fincher-inspired. Evans is really going for that 2nd Emmy.

Seems like an awful lot of episodes, right? I'm hoping we're not going to get endlessly repetitive scenes of him murdering and eating his victims...

Judging by scenes looks how the police fucked up big time.

wow I didn't realize this was dropping so soon. Hasn't even been a week since they released the trailer.
I'll probably check it out next month. Looks appropriate for spooky season.

Episodes drop today. Will you be watching? yes, wanna see it from neighbor's POV. I didn't think about it until mentioned in trailer but yeah she had to hear what was happening. Also Evan's cute so I'm gonna be like...Damn, I'm supposed to hate him. Haha.

I can't get beyond that ridiculous name. Just call it Dahmer or Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story Repeating 'Dahmer' twice is stupid and the punctuation makes it look like they're trying to smash two completely different titles together. I truly hate it.

That trailer made me sick to my stomach. Ugh. But anything Dahmer does anyway. I will try to watch this one.

I just finished episode 6 - told mostly from one of Dahmer's victims, Tony Hughes', point of view. It makes the reality of these crimes all the more horrific... It shows Dahmer cooking and eating his heart at the episode's end.

I’m thru episode 2 and I can’t get out of my head how messed up that entire series of events with the 14-year-old was.

The scenes exploring Ed Gein and John Wayne Gacy were completely gratuitous... Murphy leaning into his worst instincts there.
This show, while very well-acted, can't get over its morbid fascination with its subject... To me, there's little doubt that Murphy's interest in Dahmer stems from his attractiveness.

Do you guys recommend this show? My Netflix viewing is now Better Call Saul and then Breaking Bad. The reviews are pretty mixed. I don’t waste my time with garbage television.

I just finished episode 6 - told mostly from one of Dahmer's victims, Tony Hughes', point of view. It makes the reality of these crimes all the more horrific... It shows Dahmer cooking and eating his heart at the episode's end. That was the only great episode of the show. That good looking deaf actor really brings life to it as the one victim who gets his own episode. He's not just a body. He's a stand-out on this series (and the actress playing his mother is great too). What Dahmer does with him is one of the most brutal moments, especially following everything. Ugh. I already knew about the 14-year-old kid and those asshole cops who put him back into the hands of Dahmer. That is the most infuriating part. I like that they included the real phone call at the end. The woman was really pushing her concern and that was apparently one of many calls. I found the last few episodes lacking and certain things flat-out annoyed me. Too much Niecy Nash. Too much of the father. Tedious. Why didn't they show the Tracy Edwards testimony, for instance? That's far more interesting. They nailed the Rita Isbell moment though. Sidenote: Wasn't Penelope Ann Miller awful on this?
