Random guess..... Zhao, Chazelle, Lonergan.
Kinda surprised she hasn't worked with Chazelle yet, actually.... but maybe the next movie. Chazelle got Stone, then Robbie, maybe Lawrence is next in line.
Zhao seems on the rise, so maybe Lawrence and Zhao's career exactly coincides at the right time.
I think Lonergan would give her the most room to work to her strengths. Lawrence is good when she gets plenty of dialogue and her own scenes where she has the greenlight to do as she pleases, which Lonergan movies are full of, and her performance might come to resemble Paquin's.
This is just my obscure take.... but I kinda also see Michael Mann. I know he cast Cruz, but that's mainly because Lawrence doesn't look Mediterranean. I guess it just depends on the next movie, where I can definitely see Lawrence sliding into a minor wife or fiance role, which Mann movies are full of.... from Heat to Miami Vice to Ferrari to lots of his other movies.

Tarantino feels like a good fit for her -- I could absolutely see her doing wonders with his dialogue and with his vibe, but if his bullshit about retiring after his next film holds water, there's not a whole lot of wiggle room here.
I don't really see her vibing with more clinical filmmakers like Nolan.
I could see a Cooper reunion happening, and I do like the Zhao shout-out -- if Lawrence could harness some of that McDormand energy and start bringing projects to auteurs, this might be a good partnership. Lawrence's skill set (which was unfortunately squandered by O. Russell) is her down-to-earth naturalism, and I could see them doing something like The Rider and it hearkening back to her Winter's Bone days.
Chazelle might go for her, as he's already worked with her generational rivals Stone and Robbie and he could well shoot for the trifecta. (Note that I don't include Saoirse here because I don't think she really is competing with Lawrence/Stone/Robbie for the same sort of roles.)

Well guessing something like this is a crapshoot but I guess the odds would be highest for Chazelle since he seems to be going through the actresses in that age range with Stone and Robbie. Cooper seems like a strong possibility as well if he continues directing regularly since they're friends.
I'm not a huge JLaw fan but I think she is one where the director she's working with really matters. A great actor's director like Scorsese, Spielberg, or Fincher who would rein her in would be great for her. Wish the Elizabeth Holmes movie was a Fincher/Sorkin joint instead of Adam effing McKay.

I honestly think Jlaw is a pretty uninteresting actress in terms of directors she chose to work with. With the exception of Aronofsky, she hasn't worked with any exciting directors since she became famous. Some projects were announced with directors such as Guadagnino or Sorrentino, but they never got off the ground. I think other actresses of the same generation as her like Stone, Robbie, Ronan or Buckley make more interesting choices with the auteurs they work with.
Anyway, from those on the list I think it would work well with Inarritu.

I feel like Jeff Nichols would be good for her screen presence. Lawrence's histrionics are atrocious and Nichols wouldn't allow that.
