...What??? Hader is most likely #2 in the race, and would be an incredibly deserving winner.

Steve Martin could happen but my gut says this will be a showdown between Sudeikis who dominated last year and Hader who won twice in a row for this character. Ted Lasso is clearly still going strong with the amount of noms (even though the second season was a lot weaker IMO) and Barry had a couple important snubs so maybe that's evidence that Sudeikis will prevail. But still, two back-to-back wins for Hader... the Emmys love him.
I'm predicting Hader for now.

You going for a Jean repeat? it's gotta be either Smart or Brunson but yeah Smart feels like the safest bet.

Here's another update for these two categories:
Gold Derby Odds for Actress 1. Jean Smart - 3.4 2. Quinta Brunson - 3.9 3. Rachel Brosnahan - 5.5
Gold Derby Odds for Actor 1. Bill Hader - 3.7 2. Jason Sudeikis - 3.8 3. Steve Martin - 5.0
Vegas Odds for Actress 1. Smart -400 2. Brunson +300 3. Brosnahan +1200
Vegas Odds for Actor 1. Hader -162 2. Sudeikis +150 3. Short +900
Precursor wins Golden Globes, Critics Choice & SAG - Sudeikis & Smart Television Critics Association - Quinta Brunson (Beat out Hader, Sudeikis, Smart and Martin)
Note: Abbott and Barry were not eligible for the Globes, SAG and Critics Choice as far as I know.
It looks like we have a tight race going on in both categories. Smart vs. Brunson and Hader vs. Sudeikis.
