Coming out next year is Maestro, a biopic about the life of Leonard Bernstein. Bradley Cooper writes, directs, produces, and stars in the motion picture. You can see it both in theaters and on Netflix. I have also read that the woke crowd is upset that Cooper uses a fake nose to play Bernstein.
Do you think Cooper is going to win? This is what the media buzz is: Cooper is finally going to win an Oscar.
Is this the third Oscar for Kazu Hiro? He previous won Oscars for Bombshell and The Darkest Hour.

I am leery to say yes because his competition looks sizable already, and I remember when he was supposed to be a slam-dunk cert for the win for A Star Is Born because he was potentially up for four Oscars in one night and they'd have to reward him somewhere. But yeah, it's extremely baity and makeup-heavy and the Academy loves that of late, so I have to think he's a major contender off the back of that alone.

I think his approach is weird. You get frustrated that you're not getting Leo/Pitt/Damon offers, so you decide to pivot into a Warren Beatty "I can direct my shit" type of guy? I didn't like A Star is Born, despite the skill on display; the script just sucked to me. Cooper's playing a dangerous game.

He literally just played a role meant for DiCaprio with Nightmare Alley.
"Cooper's playing a dangerous game."
Yeah after his Oscar-winning box-office smash directorial debut, he's a madman for trying to direct again.

Here is more footage for you guys. Anyway, it looks like it'll be released in 2023, not 2022. They are going to do shoot more of the film in September. It would have to be a speedy post production for them to release it in November/December of 2022.

Ben Affleck has done more as a director. People like Cooper's acting. He's playing games. Having Spielberg on set is good and all, but what is this guy thinking? Unless you think you're some latent Polanski-level director, Cooper is going about this all wrong. Way too much ego involved.

I guess I can do this again with a subject I care about. And I've got Spielberg's and Scorsese's support too!' Yeah, he's definitely doing this all wrong.

Yeah, also what the hell was Clint Eastwood thinking when he first decided to start directing his own movies? People liked him as an actor in those westerns, and then his ego got the better of him! He went about it all wrong.

Looking at those shooting clips, it would be fun if we kept arguing BCoop's chances while Mulligan stole all the thunder...

He’s hugely in demand and basically is 2nd to Leo, who gets the number one offer in general.

He's probably thinking: 'Hey, in addition to acting I'm passionate about filmmaking and my directorial debut got great reviews, earned 436 million bucks worldwide, got nominated for Best Picture and also got me personally nominated for DGA, BAFTA and the Golden Globe. I guess I can do this again with a subject I care about. And I've got Spielberg's and Scorsese's support too!' Yeah, he's definitely doing this all wrong. If you ain't fucking with Leo, you ain't doing nothing. What does this even mean? Cooper has starred in six Best Picture nominees against DiCaprio's nine, and Cooper accomplished that in less than a decade, whereas DiCaprio hit those numbers between 1997 and 2019. Because of how prolific and in-demand Cooper is versus DiCaprio's penchant for taking hiatuses nowadays, he stands a strong chance of lapping DiCaprio's numbers in the very near future. Cooper has four acting nominations against DiCaprio's six, and actually has more overall nominations than DiCaprio. And it's not like Leo hasn't dipped his toes outside of the acting sphere; one of his nominations is for producing The Wolf of Wall Street. Is DiCaprio the bigger movie star? Unquestionably. But for a man whose breakthrough is a little over a decade ago to compare against a guy who found acclaim as a child star and has twenty-odd years of a headstart in that department, Cooper is doing extremely well for himself. And it's clear Cooper has ambitions DiCaprio hasn't evinced. He wants to write, to direct, to produce. And he's been recognized in those arenas, either by the Academy or by other awards bodies. He's an all-arounder in the way that DiCaprio simply isn't. Cooper even has stepped out on the boards and got a Tony nomination for his troubles. Will Bradley Cooper headline a billion-dollar movie on his name alone the way DiCaprio has? Probably not. But the man is clearly in high demand and if DiCaprio passes on something, Cooper won't hesitate to snatch them up and get acclaim and cred for himself. Cooper is doing exactly what any actor should be doing, and the fact that he wants to step behind the camera is an admirable trait for any creative and that's something DiCaprio has yet to do.

I know, I was being facetious. There's every chance Cooper could rush it out, but I see no reason why he would.

Spielberg isn't in this video but he was indeed on the set (he's one of the producers).
