I know but ugh. Not sure why there is a remake, I mean how else to you update this story: add black guy and huge mustache. ..I guess. "I mean how else to you update this story: add black guy and huge mustache. ..I guess." Yeah, I guess. It's so unnecessary. And why should they update it in the first place. I can't.. there's the 70's version, the tv version with molina which was contemporary and had tech update and now this one. Remakes should only be done if original story from back in day needs update cause of those film codes like Rebecca or that cary grant movie.

why does Branagh's stache look like two legs of a facehugger coming out of his nose? Now I am imaging a cross between Agatha Christie and Alien..... what a bizarre combination that would be!

Still think this is such an unnecessary film. You can't do much better than in the 1974 version.
Also Branagh doesn't resemble Poirot.

Maybe he figured he could never outham Finney on the performance front, so he'd make up for it with his look. Also, they didn't even try and compete with the 74 film in terms of cast stacking. Lame.

Looks like it could be fun, I like a good who-dunnit anyway, especially on based off a Christie novel. Plus Branagh's stauch is already legendary.
The use of the imagine dragons song was jarring though, and was obviously a clear attempt to appeal to teens.

I love christie novels but seriously, do a big screen version of the lesser know property. Most people know how this one ends. This will be the 4th version. What else can be said about this one? Pulls out hair.
