Yeah,I've been following this story and the women accusing him. He's clearly a creepy guy who likes very young women and those women seem to have been really traumatised by the way he treated them. This is a tricky one though, because they were of legal age.More than anything, he sounds like a massively entitled douche.

supposedly Jezebel published more details but *this* article seems like kind of a non-story to me. Creepy and predatory are not the same things. He just sounds like a gross tool.

Have to agree that based on this article this is a nothingburger unless there's something big that's going to drop later and this is the set up. Everybody was legal, he didn't casting couch anybody, the girl in the first story sounds like she had consensual sex with him and regretted it later. The incest comment makes him sound like a weirdo but that's the worst thing I can say based on this.
And we really need to have a society wide primer over what "grooming" means with all the recent abuse its gotten. These weren't 12 year olds.
And what "power" are we talking about him abusing here? This was all before he did a Bond movie, at that point he'd just directed some episodes of True Detective and done Beasts of No Nation on Netflix, he wasn't Steven Spielberg or Weinstein.

Heh...that point is non-sense. He was the director of probably the most talked about miniseries of 2014, starring the guy that won that Oscar that year, won an Emmy for it, directed a movie that was very talked about, acclaimed and won awards. That alone puts him very nearly the top of the pile of directors in Hollywood, certainly more than most people can ever dream of. It was enough to get him a Bond movie.
You comment would be like someone accusing some senator to use his power and connections to get laid and your reply being "What power? This guy is no McConnell or Schumer". He doesn't have to be.
