Not many of these for me - I like lyrics - and also probably because I don't play an instrument I guess ...........I don't mean classical pieces but that's fine if you like - I may be forgetting some of these Rock ones?
I love Colleen Green's "Pressure To Cum" (2021) - a recent one - which is a witty joke imo that closes her excellent and quite misunderstood "Cool" album - which is all about wry observations about relationships but ends that album with no words at all........... since I guess she doesn't have any left......all gentle simple pleasantness that almost mocks musical prowess ..........and with that title too.
Jeff Beck - Beck's Bolero Black Sabbath - Rat Salad New York Dolls - Courageous Cat Theme Johnny Thunders - Pipeline Mission of Burma - All World Cowboy Romance
Husker Du - (the incredible) Reoccurring Dreams Husker Du - The Wit and The Wisdom Husker Du - Don't Know Yet Pixies - Cecilia Ann Colleen Green - Pressure To Cum

Throw Call of Ktulu in there too. Not as good as Orion, but belongs in the conversation just for the greatest ending to a song (and maybe album) ever.

Metallica’s Orion and Call of Ktulu already mentioned... To Live is to Die and Suicide & Redemption are other good ones by them. (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth is basically just a bass solo, but I love that one too because of the way Cliff Burton treats the bass almost like it’s a guitar at times. There are a lot of others I love, so this was hard to narrow down. Instead of 10, I’ll do 15: Nine Inch Nails - A Warm Place Nine Inch Nails - Leaving Hope Pink Floyd - Marooned Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother Pink Floyd - The Great Gig in the Sky (if that counts) Dick Dale - The Wedge Dick Dale - Bandito The Ventures - Walk Don't Run Led Zeppelin - Moby Dick Joe Satriani - Surfing with the Alien Jimi Hendrix - Peace in Mississippi - all I could find on YT were cover versions Santana - Soul Sacrifice Frank Zappa - Peaches en Regalia The Flaming Lips - Pompeii Am Götterdämmerung (edit: somehow I totally forgot there were lyrics in this lol, but I'm leaving it because it's still a damn awesome song) Primus - Hamburger Train
