RIP His 2nd Tony win very likely single-handedly stopped Dustin Hoffman from winning the Acting Triple Crown which is one of those great "what if's?" for acting awards history ...... to win a 2nd Tony in the way he did it is always really something ........one musical, one not......but when he did it, it was really noticeable and striking. Now they give out Tony Awards like they are candy and just in the past few years Langella won his 4th, Kline & Rylance their 3rd, and Cranston his 2nd........but it wasn't always that way with the Tony's .........and especially to do it almost 30 years apart.......quite a feat that was......

First, RIP to Mr. Robert Morse, he was great on Mad Men. But I have to admit I didn't know he was a song and dance man as well and was taken by surprise when this scene came up.

He was actually involved with a lot of silly comedies and films early on in his career, including reprising his role in the How to Succeed in Business film, because of his song and dance breakground. One of his most successful films as a lead was the 70s Disney Comedy The Boatniks.
