I kept my parents 14 year old diabetic cat alive for a week of watching her!!!! I hurt her on the first insulin shot last weekend, she crouched down after I injected her with the needle and the scruff slipped out of my hands and she winced and hissed at me. It took me extra long to fall asleep because I a) felt like a piece of shit b) was thinking I probably injected it straight to her spine or some shit like that. Then she stopped letting me give her a shot, sheβd roll over and try to murder my hand. So obviously Iβm looking up how long diabetic cats can go without insulin. My parents told me to stop trying Iβd she wasnβt going to let me because the stress will only make the blood sugar run amok. After leaving her for 8 hours for work, which I was completely distracted because my anxiety was running rampant, on the third day she was acting super lovey so I tried again and i was able to give her the medication with ease. Then the next day she wouldnβt let me again. So I only gave her a shot after I came home from work. My parent just got back from their trip (which why? But whatever). And Iβm incredibly relieved.
My parents have a 70in tv and surround-sound so I basically just watched as many movies as I possibly could last week while I had access to their setup.

The director of Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde commented on my 90s horror montage and was glad to be included. Haha, that's so neat.

He also acted in 9 to 5, Mommie Dearest, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High - three years in a row, his only movies as actor, all cult classics. And he coproduced Leprechaun which was the source of all my childhood nightmares - aka a legend. And he has great taste in montages...

I just spent ninety minutes over two days watching a Heelwork competition. That's dancing a choreographed routine with a dog. I enjoyed every minute.
I'm worried about myself.

I love how easily Iβll justify the number of philly cheese steaks Iβm eating now that Iβm lifting consistently again.

So, I tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday. So far, my symptoms have been mild, but just being mindful of any changes there and staying rested and hydrated. My quarantine period is over on February 1st... Hoping I'm back 100% by then.
Please be careful if going out, everyone. I follow all of the CDC guidelines and still got it...

Thank you for the well wishes, everyone. The_Cake_of_Roth - I'm really not sure, but I did dine inside a restaurant that was probably too crowded for safety on Sunday the 17th...

Yeah, I miss eating inside restaurants, but still just get take-out because I'm still paranoid even if the place is not very crowded... especially with the new, more contagious variants floating around. My 60 year old parents will eat inside places occasionally even though I discourage them from doing it. One of the restaurants they used to go to frequently doesn't enforce mask-wearing at all, so they at least avoid that place...

How are you feeling now, Tyler? You are so sweet, Drish. I am feeling MUCH better, thank you. I still have lingering headaches that flare up from time to time - I'm going to see my primary care doctor tomorrow just to make sure there's nothing more serious going on. Hopefully all will be good!
