Started off really good. I hope it keeps this momentum. Will binge the rest of the episodes tonight and tomorrow night.

I really hope that "One nation, Underwood" line is just a made-for-trailer one-liner and isn't actually featured in the show. Seriously, that's just horrendous dialogue.
Otherwise I like what I see, even if it feels like re-treading familiar ground at this point. I'm surprised they already gave us a peak at the electoral map situation, that feels like a fairly substantial thing to know ahead of time.

Yeah that last line was cringeworthy and the saddest part is/is that I said it with him in real time.

Looks like Claire will be breaking the 4th wall too I know! I'm so excited to see where they take it. It could get real messy, but I'm expecting them to succeed with this. Claire will exponentially rise in the BadAssery meter even though she's already so high on it.

4 episodes into it. This war on terror or to be precise 'we make terror' is happening. Spacey is killing it. I'm excepting Robin Wright will dominate in the later half of the season.

Two episodes in. Far from the quality of season four so far, though not off to a bad start. The second episode was a huge step-up over the first. They need to get rid of Yates, though. His character provided an interesting dynamic when he was first introduced, but is now just a bore and a nuisance.

8 episodes. The previous two seems to be going nowhere but this 8th one is really good. Things are going to be on a brisk pace from now on. I'm only afraid that they're trying too many things.

I'm a couple eps in. I'll post my thoughts when I'm done. Just wanted to say, though, that the great Agnieszka Holland directed ep10 & 11 !!

Four episodes in. The actual election night of 2016 was more entertaining than the fictitious one depicted here.
I still think this season is decent, but it hasn't hooked me yet as season four had sufficiently done within its first handful of episodes.

I just finished.
What a steaming hot pile of garbage that season was.
What in the actual fuck were the writers actually thinking?

Just finished it. I thought they tried too many things. Some worked, some didn't. Acting is still the best thing about it but I'm not sure Spacey is enjoying it as he used to be.
I hope it comes to an end in season 6.

I'm on episode 8 and I'm sorely disappointed by how unkempt this season is; Frank and Claire aren't as intimidating, they're just being stubborn and Frank is acting like an idiot with how blind he is to the reality of his situation and how many people he's overtly pissing off. The side characters are no longer interesting and I'm always questioning why they're around when they either hate Frank or Frank doesn't trust them. People like Seth, Catherine, Tom...ugh. I used to like the side characters (Remy, Jackie, Doug, Peter). People like Doug and LeAnne aren't even impressive in their duties; LeAnne was introduced as such a power player and I'm constantly questioning her abilities and what she really adds.
The show should have called it quits at s3 instead of overextending itself without any real purpose.

Honestly, I thought season 4 was almost its finest hour. This season should've been the season where it all falls apart.
