There's also something to be said for wondering how much of it is exploiting Willis, and the degree that his cognitive function affects him being able to consent to doing projects like this. |

What a pitty that almost all his last movies were a complete sh...t.
I hope an Honorary Oscar for him. Because he was a TV comedian turn into an action leading man turn into a dramatic actor.-

Very sad news. Might've been troubling him longer than we realize, like all the ridiculous attention to an earpiece during his Broadway play in 2015 (same "issue" with Pacino/China Doll...I was in the second row for that and he was sharp as a tack).
Wasn't he fired from Woody's Cafe Society for this? Or how about those Youtube guys with millions of subs, ripping him for the recent z-grade movies and compiling every time you can see his earpiece. I guess those movies are fair game but the Razzies category just looks super mean-spirited and nasty now, which it was to begin with.
Anyway, love Bruce, always have. Die Hards I've rewatched so many times. Also as the board's biggest Hudson Hawk fan, an important reminder: it's on Netflix.

Aw man, Bruce Willis was one of my first favorite actors growing up. I love Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, The Fifth Element, among lots of others. Really one of the first actor's filmographies that I really dug into. Sorry to hear this - I hope he can rest and be comfortable with family. He's a legend.

That's really sad. I still like most of his early filmography such as Die Hard, The Six Sense, and Pulp Fiction. But he still got a good/decent legacy. It makes sense why Brue Willis has to retire his career now and that must've been a difficult decision form him and his family to make.
I wish the best from him and his family too.

Man, I had to watch one of these low-grade movies for work ("A Day to Die") and it was just so damn sad seeing Bruce in it. He was clearly lost, didn't really understand the lines he was saying, sometimes stood against a clear green-screen when he was supposed to be part of the scene, sometimes had his offscreen lines overdubbed by some (rather poor) voice actor. It seems to me that the whole point of these trashy movies gets evaporated now that the news about his condition is out. Because how can you have fun with this cheap garbage (not that it's any fun to begin with) when you know what Bruce was going through during the shoot? I almost teared up at one moment when I saw him on the screen because I felt so bad for him.
