Me after realizing that Requiem for a Dream was nominated for practically everything it had a shot at, except Adapted Screenplay: Me after seeing Connelly and Clint Mansell winning Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Score: Me after seeing the Best Picture winner: Thanks for doing this, pendragon!

I thought Gladiator would sweep but surprised to see it losing BP to Memento and Bale over Crowe. I'm not complaining at all.

Also, maybe I’m a fool, but I thought Memento didn’t get released to paying audiences (usually when it’s eligibility counts) until 2001, and 2000 was its festival circuit. Did it have some limited run in the UK, or something?
