Seriously... scheduling conflict with the Oscars... sounds like lack of interest (or interesting offer) to me

Seriously... scheduling conflict with the Oscars... sounds like lack of interest (or interesting offer) to me Steve & Martin are on a tour, they have shows scheduled. They already had to postpone some shows last year due to covid. It'd be disrespectful to fans if they'd postpone them again for the sake of hosting Oscars. Also...

I may be one of the few people who enjoy the idea that the Oscars do not have a host.

The last time I thought the host was funny was literally Seth MacFarlane whom everyone hated lol. I thought Ellen and Chris Rock were awful, Harris was boring, Kimmel was ok, and the 3 hostless ceremonies were all quite bad.

I actually quite liked Kimmel. He was pretty well-balanced and I really liked both his monologues. Plus he will forever be an iconic host due to being associated with the LLL/Moonlight mix-up, then bringing Faye/Beatty back next year, also bringing back Travolta/Idena for a hilarious (actually cringey) sequel.

He was ok. Better than Ellen, NPH, and Chris Rock for sure. The Travolta and Menzel sequel was in NPH's year thoguh.

funny people don't always make funny Oscar hosts. I like Sykes and Hall but ABC always sanitizes and cringifies everything to hell.

His Lincoln joke was hilarious and the disapproval he got made it even funnier. And yeah Ellen sucked. I’ve hated her for years, and I’m so glad the internet has finally come on board

this is so...bizarre. What a fucking clown show man. Ever since Trump entered politics, it’s been this sick meshing of entertainment and politics.

So what’s up with Rachel Zegler not being invited to the Oscars? That’s crazy to me since she’s the lead of a huge movie that is nominated for Best Picture

I’ve been at work all day, so it took me awhile to realize this wasn’t actually a joke.

I propose having Amy Schumer co-host the ceremony live from Ukraine. Preferably Mariupol.

At this point, I'm more excited to watch this ceremony than last year's just to see how much more of a trainwreck it will be.
