Annette Bening in American Beauty is probably the single most annoying performance I've ever seen in a film.

I sorta have a love/hate feeling about Edward Norton (thought he was outstanding in 25th Hour, Fight Club, Primal Fear, The Score and Rounders) He is so good at playing sniveling weaselly characters But there are 4 Edward Norton performances that annoy the shit out of me (and they all occurred between 2005-2010) Norton was so cringe worthy / Razzie bad in Down in the Valley. And boring & annoying af in The Illusionist and The Painted Veil (both 2006 releases) But the worst one is his performance in Stone. He made a complete ass out of himself in front of his acting hero in that film. White people can not pull off cornrows imo and did Norton actually think that was going to impress De Niro?

I think Hilary Swank in The Black Dahlia and Anthony Hopkins in Legends of the Fall are the two worst performances I've ever seen, so I guess it has to be those two?

I think Hilary Swank in The Black DahliaIf I had a time machine, the first thing I would do is go back and tell De Palma to cast Kirshner in that role as well for the love of God (but by all means, keep Fiona Shaw and let her do her bonkers-ass thing).

Phillip Seymour Hoffman in most what he made.
But in Doubt Seymour Hoffman and Streep were trully awful. There were so awful, that Angelina Jolie nomination for Challenging looks like a deserved one.-

Eat vegetables not Doritos.- Jared Padelecki and Levar Burton PSH was one of the most overated and overacted actors from the new millenium.- I don't like him as an actor. Even in her best performance in Capote, in the rewatch, wasn't that good.-

Tobey Maguire as Spiderman/Peter Parker. He comes across as a whiny little annoying twerp in those Spiderman movies. IMO it should have been Jake Gyllenhaal as Spider man (superior actor, much more age appropriate, more likable and Gyllenaal is great at playing dorky characters). My friends in high school disliked him in the role upon its release. Most of us agreed Freddie Prinze Jr. would have been better suited at the time.

I’ll have to look back to remember the performances in a movie that annoy me (largely actors whose entire performance is based on yelling - looking @ you Leo)
But recently, in Angels in America - Mary Louise Parker drove me NUTS, I wanted to push her off her plane, she was so frustrating to watch it made me empathize w everyone but her. Same goes for Al Pacino in that show but at least we were meant to hate him so I guess it’s a win.

Most recent ones are the performances in White Noise. Really didn't like that movie. Also, Cooper in American Hustle.
