Once again, I am extremely sorry that this got dragged out for so long. Life got in the way with several issues and all. Anyway, the ceremony is going to be held on 16 September, at anywhere between 5:30 pm IST (or 8:00 AM EST) and 7:00 pm IST (or 9:30 am EST). Those who can join, be there!
Edit: Probably won't be able to hold it today, still lots of stuff left that need to be dealt with soon. 16 September is the D-Day now, all work should be done by tomorrow.

Sorry for all the delays and being a pain in the ass. All the chaos happening in my life stretched this out far longer than I, and anyone, would've liked to. This time, it's commencing for real.
Okay, before we get started, I'd like to give a huge thanks to all who voted.

If both "Let Him Go" and "Babyteeth" got 30 points from 2 ballots, why one of them got in but the other one didn't?

If both "Let Him Go" and "Babyteeth" got 30 points from 2 ballots, why one of them got in but the other one didn't? Mostly because the list reached the 50-film limit with Babyteeth. I wanted to make a tie, but ultimately adhered to the limit.

Siberia - tundras, double Dafoe, Del Shannon, and talking fish freakiness - I'd watch it again
Driveways - beautiful, bittersweet movie

Malmkrog should have been in the top 5, but to see that someone else on this forum has watched it (and placed it in their ballot) is a kind of consolation. Masterful film.

oh and it's pretty nice to see Fanny Lye Deliver'd here. I remember a time last year when stephen and cheesecake were practically the only two people who'd seen it and I was only aware of it from their reactions, but it seems that quite a few people checked it out. Really interesting movie!

also... The Climb is one of the best movies of last year. Criminally underseen / undermarketed with a totally buried release thanks to COVID, but it's a hilarious snapshot of a problematic friendship between two men that makes effective use of its microbudget with heavily-scripted long takes. Very writer-ly movie in the best way. And Gayle Rankin is sublime!
