You guys can say what you want - but I liked Kayleigh McEnany - must be that cross she always wore - makes me think very bad things ..........but Psaki has problems of her own - Biden doesn't speak much so she doesn't have to "correct/lie" like it was for President Orange ......but because Biden doesn't directly answer many questions atm - she has to deflect and construct a clear narrative on his behalf. Personally she is likable, composed and tough to me ........ and like McEnany was she is pretty impressive with info at her disposal..........not sure how much longer she can keep this up because the press seems much tougher on her atm than they had been - any thoughts on her - or basically are all press secretary's just annoying anyway?

I agree with you she does a lot of deflecting, iow changing the subject. Vs Kayleigh who mostly just defends Trump, sometimes like he's her father, but mostly just shows great belief in her guy.
But then, when you command the sinking ship that Biden is currently operating.... it's kinda hard to not deflect. HA.
Favorite FoxNews talk analyst or host or anybody who makes appearances, pacinoyes?

She comes across so smug and dismissive to a lot of the reporters during her press briefings (many of these reporters are on her side too and only ask her easy soft ball questions ) Honestly, it seems like the only reporter that pushes back with follow up questions is that Fox News dork Peter Doocy (I can't believe I'm sticking up for a Fox News reporter but he is at least calling her & the Biden administration out on their constant bullshit and lies. She recently got so defensive when Doocy said that there were Americans "stranded" still in Afghanistan (which they were btw). www.newsweek.com/jen-psaki-saying-no-americans-stranded-afghanistan-viewed-over-1-5-million-times-1622468I love how she kept saying they are committed to getting Americans home "if they want to come back home" lol yeah cause I'm sure they all want to choose to stay in that dangerous shit hole country with the Taliban in control. fucking idiot

From day 1 until our lockdown ended in mid April I watched every single one of her briefings the problem is that it is a thankless fucking job, about as tough a one as there is, and nobody can be 'perfect' at it because their job is not to answer questions honestly, but to cover for their administration. Looking at it in that context she is (or she was, I haven't seen anything but snippets of her since then) a fucking superstar. She never appeared to get mad the way that Trump's clowns did, more impressively (especially with her skin ) never appeared to get flustered in tough situations. She made less (comparatively!) use of whataboutism, actually answered questions, didn't attempt to if she couldn't, but did come back with answers to ones that were asked at later dates. Total pro. Respect the hell out of her while absolutely acknowledging that succeeding in this position does sort of inherently require you to be a pain in the ass of the people. I think it's fascinating shit to watch.

Yeah I do apologize for linking an article from that right wing rag of a website but the main stream media is barely even covering the crisis at the southern border so that was one of the only things that popped up on my google search lol. And I do care because I want the US to have a strong/stable border security. We are still in a global pandemic (last time I checked) and we are letting in all sorts of illegals (who knows who these people are. We don't know if they are vaccinated, if they have COVID, what other diseases they might have, what their intentions are etc) Sorry not sorry that I want to know who is coming in and out of this country (its a HUGE security risk as well) . Other countries enforce their border laws, we should too imo. And there isn't anything remotely xenophobic about having that belief either. Just my 2 cents.

I understand that, but does this concern about possible diseased unvaccinated illegal immigrants apply to the ones who are white and coming from Western/white majority countries?
Security risks already exist inside America with citizens when you look at the insanely high rate of gun violence and mass shootings

Come on now lets not go playing the race card regarding this serious issue. And to answer your question...ABSOLUTELY!! I don't give a fuck what color of skin they have. If they are some up to no good Russian hackers/criminals here illegally I'd want them kicked out/arrested immediately. We should have a zero tolerance policies when it comes to illegal immigration (other countries have them and enforce them. We should as well. I'll use Reuters as a source this time around to show you just how out of control illegal immigration is. www.reuters.com/world/us/caravan-hundreds-migrants-press-north-across-mexico-2021-10-27/And btw the Biden administration has even admitted to acknowledging the 20 year illegal immigration crisis (and that was way back in the middle of the summer time www.cnbc.com/2021/07/27/biden-plans-to-speed-up-asylum-processing-and-deportations-at-the-border-.html. another thing is that a lot of these illegals are bringing their little kids with them on this very very dangerous (and sometimes deadly ) journey. They are risking not only their own lives but their little kids' lives as well. That is flat out children endangerment , reckless behavior and highly irresponsible imo (not to mention against the law) But its not all bad news, the cartels and human traffic scumbags are thriving so good for them at least. Regarding your 2nd point, I am well aware that there are already security risks in America. I get that My question to you is why would you want MORE security problems on top the things you listed? Also I completely agree with you that there has definitely been a huge surge in crime this year especially in cities led by far left wing Democrat politicians with already very strict gun control laws that have been put in place for a long time. Cities like Chiraq (oops I mean Chicago) , Oakland, San Francisco, NYC, Seattle, LA and of course Portland but I honestly don't give a fuck about the unhinged/lunatics in Portland anyways. They are way too far gone and not worth saving at this point. They can enjoy their anarchy & being miserable all the time. Fuck em) Oh and of course there is Minneapolis that is also featuring a similar major problem in a surge in crime this year. Hmm I wonder why? Illhan Omar blames the Minneapolis police department for the rampant crime surge (obviously of course ) news.yahoo.com/ilhan-omar-blames-minneapolis-spike-202800548.html Minneapolis voters will also have the chance to vote to replace the police department with a "department of public safety" www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/ballot-initiative-will-decide-fate-minneapolis-police-department-n1282169

Idk what people expect from press secretaries and spokespeople. Their job literally is to reiterate what their boss said to them. They have no agency. She is the same as when she was Obama's State Department spokesperson.

She is the same as when she was Obama's State Department spokesperson. This is a very good point. As another poster in this thread stated, its a thankless job and all they are paid to do is to bullshit their way thru their daily briefings. I shouldn't single out Jen Psaki for what she is doing because these press secretaries have been doing the same exact thing for decades now. (I lost track on how many press secretaries Trump had . I know one of them was on Dancing with the Stars and another one was Mike Huckabee's daughter who was very rude and dismissive towards a lot of the media

Ok, KJP had a rough first day but she'll get better I'm sure - Psaki and Kayleigh McEnany were GOATs at this stuff - for arguably the 2 toughest (cough, worst, cough) Presidents to do this for ever maybe. The indefatigable White Knight of Conservatism Peter Doocy from Fox (natch) "welcoming" her - I'm sure she'll get some pointers on how to Psaki-drop him this week....

Now that Psaki’s gone I’ll say a bit more about her tenure. She was damn good at her job. Everything I said about her at the top of this thread still stands, nothing has changed in regards to that. She shamelessly lied for the regime, and was overly condescending and elitist as the mouthpiece of the administration. She was the perfect encapsulation of everything that’s ugly and rotten about this administration and for that reason she’s actually probably the best press secretary in this country’s history. As the person who speaks to the press on behalf of the president, the press secretary is supposed to capture the essence of the administration and no other press secretary before has ever done this better than Jen Psaki. This sounds backhanded as fuck but I don’t mean it as a slight towards her. Regardless of what she’s like as a person, she was very good at her job - probably the only person in the Biden administration who was good at their job
