Well, IMDB always had inflated and racist troll votes (explains why basically every Nolan film is top 250) I don't think this has anything to do with racism. Plenty of movies get high scores on IMDb with black leads, even movies with racism as a prominent theme. Both Django Unchained and 12 Years a Slave had just as much attention as Moonlight, and both still have impressive ratings. I think the difference is Moonlight is far less conventional, and similarly to Birdman, when it was introduced to a larger audience backlash was inevitable. You've seen the racist and homophobic users and trolls on IMDB (Merc, for example) Hell, the i Am Not Your Negro board was completely defiled with racism

First of all I think its the score the film deserves, second why should it be different than with any other BP winner existing since social media exists.

That's just petty.
I remember how it had about an 8.1 before we left the place. A 7.6 is still a fine score, but the idea of trying to undermine Moonlight in favor of La La Land is just plain silly. This is why I don't even take IMDb ratings all that seriously at times. It's more or less a popularity contest every time anyways. Movies there get voted a 9/10 every time before they actually come out or a 1-4/10 prior to the release due to controversy.
