Amazing set of winners, and The Father did even better than I expected.
Though I do think Anya Taylor-Joy's performer of the year win definitely was for the "unrelated" work you crossed out.

Would have preferred Nomandland or Wolfwalkers to win, but The Father's damn good, so I'm not exactly heartbroken over it taking best picture. Great presentation Sharbs, really can't complain about much. |

I'm way behind, so most of these mean nothing to me. But Emma winning for costuming fills me with joy. I'd have loved to see it win makeup too. Is Possessor any good? I haven't really had any interest in watching it.

I f-wording love these winners. These are solid winners and from what I've seen of 2020 it was merely a solid year, so that's fairly reflective of it. Emma for costume design and Hopkins in Actor are easily the cream of the crop. The Father is a very worthy Best Picture winner too, and one I feel we won't be dragging in years to come. I think I voted for it from the nominees, although it only just makes my own Top 10. Sharbs great job on arranging, it's never easy. |
