Looks like somebody finally woke up RDJ. This is the most interesting projects he's been attached to in ages, and with wook to boot.

This novel is insanely good, and Chan-wook Park taking it on is a brilliant choice. I wonder if The Brigands of Rattlecreek is still in the cards, and I wonder if Downey, Jr. would be interested in taking that on.

Chan Wook-Park is the best director in the world and has been for some time now - that trailer has so many things in it that are jump up and down exciting - from the way he does that "a close up by pulling the camera back" (or more accurately what draws your eye to a scene) - a marvelous trick - to the way he frames a shot with a seemingly static background (that office scene - a total Polanski move) - he is insanely good in where his scenes are set - where they eventually go to - where his camera starts to where it ends.....all odd angles and dizzying perspectives.....
There is never one second visually where that trailer doesn't pop off the screen......can't wait for this.....

Oh that looks phenomenal. Xuande looks like he's gonna be a revelation, and it's good to see Downey, Jr. back to his mid-2000s scene-stealing character actor roots.
