This awesome film turned 30 years old on July 4th and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it Its easily one of my all time favorite films (of any genre not just action/sci fi) What James Cameron pulled off here was flat out masterful and imo a cinematic game changer that still holds up today. It featured some revolutionary special effects at the time. And where do I even begin with all the amazing/jaw dropping action sequences?! Cameron directed the shit out of those and threw everything and the kitchen sink at the audience. It features also a great story and a badass performance from Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor in this (still remains on of my all time favorite performances by an actress. Linda really laid it all out there ) And of course there is Arnold 's awesome self. He was great in it as well. There were also some really emotional scenes in it and funny ones too (not just great action scenes) so it had a lot of heart imo 10/10

I was fortunate enough to have seen this in the theater when it was released. One of my all-time best theatrical experiences (got to see it on my birthday with my dad when I was way too young) and it still holds up tremendously.

A CLASSIC!!!
Great work from Cameron. One of the very few sequels that are better than the (great) original.

I think if you transposed Jason Clarke from Genisys (that's the one he's in, right?) and moved him into the Christian Bale role and kept the OG ending, that might actually be a good movie.

Unfortunately I never got to see this in the theaters when it came out, but I remember seeing it on VHS when I was 6..lol. Didn't understand alot of what was going on just that the T-1000 character scared the hell out of me. Revisiting it time and time again as I got older I'm in awe of what James Cameron accomplished here. Superior to The Terminator in every way and one of the greatest sequels ever made. It was a game changer in Hollywood as far as Visual/Practical effects and what could be done on screen. The opening battle scene in the future cutting to the opening credits and end the opening credits with the cyborg staring at you with the fire in the background, you knew were in for a hell of a ride. A classic!

It's awesome, and still holds up each and every time I watch it. One of the best, more precisely executed action movies I can think of. That bike chase scene alone is pure cinematic joy.

Stellar sequel. I love how immersive it is and how well the effects hold up. The cast is strong with Arnold getting to do so much more with the character, Hamilton kicking ass and taking names, and Robert Patrick being a great scene-stealer, too.

Greatest blockbuster of all time. Pretty much a masterpiece, and it's probably the only action film I say that about.
I wanna live in that liquid metal nightmare all day and night.

Honestly, one of the best action films of all time, even if placing it in the category somewhat diminishes the many things it brings to the table.
