I wasn't expecting the Paul Bettany nod. I was, but for Uncle Frank instead. I can't believe that only got one nomination... It was so good.

What do people make of the Small Axe snubs?
I wonder if the controversy over whether they were "films" or "TV" might have affected how voters perceived it. Based on how he did in the winter awards, I thought John Boyega was probably the drama supporting actor frontrunner (Critics Choice and Golden Globe winner). Yet he didn't even get nominated.

Jean Smart got double nods. I didn't realize Kidman got snubbed until I saw Grant's name.

I guess they only watched 6 shows this year? I swear, I thought I read they nominated Ted Lasso twice for Best Comedy series and once in Drama series. My eyes hurt looking at the list of repetition.

Jean Smart got double nods. I haven't even seen those Jean Smart performances, but I approve because she was robbed of a supporting actress win for Watchmen, imho. Wonderful actress. One of America's best.

I’m just happy for the Ted Lasso love. I think it is the frontrunner right now with Hacks as the spoiler.

I actually have a sneaking suspicion Elizabeth Olsen might win Best Actress In A Limited Series over Taylor-Joy and Winslet WandaVision got more support than I expected. I wasn't expecting the Paul Bettany nod.But almost everyone else was. The show did pretty much exactly as well as most predicted, nothing has changed in regards to Olsen's chances.

I mean Coel and Olsen are such a distant 3rd and 4th anyway, that the whole discussion is a moot point.
It's ATJ v Winslet, as it has been since April.

I blame LAFCA for causing confusion by pretending that it wasn't a television production.

Was also hoping Veneno would get nominated for something but knew that was extremely unlikely.

Thrilled for Winslet, Julianne Nicholson and the love for the show. I do think Winslet is a huge threat with the way the show performed and how it seemed to peak at the right time.
I am a little surprised by the Kidman snub. Erivo got in as a lone nom, from a show with worse reviews, way worse ratings, and no precursors. I wasn’t even sure the show generated enough buzz for voters to even bother watching, but I guess the bait factor won out in the end?
Don Cheadle’s reaction to his nomination is pretty hilarious lol

Interesting... both in good and bad ways.
Still, they should have just put in Odenkirk and Seahorn this year due to their egegious snubs from last year. I am still not over that.
