Except Brodie-Sangster winning is an even better sign for Taylor-Joy.
But should have been Bill Camp.
Too bad Evan Peters won... I'm not watching the awards, just following on IMDB the winners, and they announced Sangster had won for some reason, and only edited later.
Still think should have been Camp, though.

Schitt's Creek last year, and now Ted Lasso this year. Boring ass fucking sweeps. I hate them too unless What We Do in the Shadows is the next to sweep? It’ll probably be Ted Lasso again though.

The Crown is also sweeping. Those sweeps happen because voters don't watch these shows, except one or other episode early on, so vote on name recognition.

Next year, Comedy will be a bloodbath. The two you mentioned, Barry, Atlanta, The Great, Only Murders in the Building etc. I'd be surprised if anything swept.

Martin Short is so funny on that show that it is pretty much a done deal at this point.

Oh wow, Hacks won both Directing and Writing. Ted Lasso vote splitting, or is there more passion for Hacks than we originally thought??

A standing ovation for Jean Smart! Could easily see her winning the Oscar for Babylon next year. She's universally loved/respected.

So best Comedy is between Ted and Hacks, right?

So best Comedy is between Ted and Hacks, right? that was always the case. And it's a win either way because they're both great

Really enjoying that Ted Lasso isn't sweeping like we expected. All this Hacks love is genuinely fantastic. Jean Smart is such a national treasure.

I'm telling you, if they ever bring back Arrested Development, she's the only one I trust as a Jessica Walters replacement. My idea is that she shows up after Lucille dies to reclaim George. She was his first wife that nobody knew about.

When was the last time a network show won a major emmy? I don't know but Queen Julianna Margulies deservedly won recently.

OMG, Colman beat Corrin. True fucking Queen shit. Goddamn right. She was owed the Emmy twice already for Broadchurch and The Night Manager, so I'm glad they rectified their mistake tonight.

OMG, Colman beat Corrin. True fucking Queen shit. Since most people don't watch these shows anyway, name recognition usually makes the difference.
