Men Explain Things To Me Tacocat
They were better at singles than albums but haven't heard from them in a long while.......one of their best......and one of the best of 2016 too.

All mine are 70s on back, but that's what I'm on right now. I think I was born in the wrong era.
My favorite Aretha song and Cissy Houston's high notes in the background are wow.
In a Joni Mitchell phase, so had to include her. The honesty and bittersweet lyrics and voice she pours out about giving her child away - I'd never heard anything like it.
The Monterey Pop one is famous, but I think this is better. I've played this countless times. She killed it.
There's something about Sandy Denny's singing that never fails to touch me. She was great.
Take a moment for this one. A special one.
I learned that Etta James may be my favorite female singer. I prefer her to Aretha even. Her and Otis Redding just had that pain in their voice that can't be replicated.
and last but not least, Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon. Had to include a live video due to my belief that Stevie Nicks is absolutely possessed in this performance because damn at the last 2 minutes:
