Firth Is hit and miss. He can be pretty boring when the material isn't up to par, but this sounds like the kind of role and material that can bring out the best in him.

As someone who watched and enjoyed the original docuseries...this is a weird choice. I would've pictured someone like Sam Rockwell.

What's your take?

Just got done reading the wikipedia page on this case (since I'd never heard of it before) and it sounded like a sloppy ass prosecution. I mean, he DOES looks suspicious as hell but at the same time the case looks to be full of holes. I dunno.
Also, the owl theory is wild.

I haven’t watched the docuseries (I’ve heard so much about this case throughout my lifetime - it was covered like OJ in North Carolina), but yes, absolutely.

It was mentioned on a podcast that John C. McGinley should play him and now that's all I want.

I have a feeling Binoche will be playing the first woman many suspect Peterson killed. She died under very similar circumstances as his wife.

Per Collette, filming is set to begin in Atlanta very soon. Really wish they were actually filming this in NC.

NC was actually third behind LA and NYC at one point (80s through the 00s) in terms of film/television productions, but Georgia's tax program definitely put a hard halt to that.

Turner's an interesting case. I always thought that she showed great promise as Sansa, but the last few seasons really did her no favors and while she was a solid get for Jean Grey, the script gave her absolutely nothing to work with (and I do think that with proper attention and, y' know, not the same guy who fucked it up the first time coming back to screw it up again). I hope this capitalizes on that promise.

I'm curious how this plays on people who know the case well....... I've somehow stayed blind as could be, so this series has offered some wildly unexpected twists for me. Wasn't expecting Juliette Binoche as one of the editors of Call My Agent Also, need more Parker Posey. All of her Southern-licked lines are hilarious.
